Wait a second, where does PENTAKILL fit in the K/DA AU canon?

I personally don't really care about the K/DA content, seeing that their music genre's too far removed from my own taste and the only champion I play out of their lineup's Eve, but skimming her page I found an interesting little tidbit.

That being that Eve takes inspiration from bloody KARTHUS. Which means that PENTAKILL exists in the K/DA universe.... But that totally seems to clash with the Metal-land a la BRÜTAL LEGEND their own Skin canon is rooted in whereas K/DA cites real life cities like Hong Kong and New York.

So... Where the bloody hell does Pentakill fit into all of this?

There's Earth in the Pentakill universe, which is a separate planet from Runeterra where the Pentakill band operates. You can read about Earth in Pentakill Kayle's lore. Sona's song is noted to travel between these different planets.

I always saw Pentakill as the iconic representative of league's music and i always will. Rise or K/DA never!

It doesn't necessarily mean they exist in the same universe though. K/DA universe could be a different Karthus than Pentakill one.

Well Pentakill Karthus could be Heavy metal from Norway or FInland and K/DA Evelyn from Korea.

It seems perfectly reasonable that the 'dark metal-land' was a fiction created by Pentakill WITHIN the universe that K/DA is in.
