Void = Cancer?

Now before you go and think that this is some rant about how the Void champions are unbalanced, this is a completely different discussion. My theory that I have come to present is that the Void works in the same way that cancer does aside from a point that will be the topic of the second section. This is built on the basis of the Void page on the new Universe site. It describes the Void as "an infinite realm of unfettered creation, tortured landscapes of crazed organic machinery, magical weapon-looms and mountainous flesh-forges." And what does this have to do with cancer? Well, cancer occurs when a cell refuses the chemical signal that tells it to die. Like the Void, it begins growing out of control into it's own organism with no specific path other than to live. Unfortunately, since no single bit of organic matter can live forever, this means that it needs to replace its basic building blocks. We do this when we eat. The nutrients we gather are used to replace old cells, and cause us to live and grow. Cancer, as a living thing, needs food, and to have food, you need a source. The catch is, sometimes this source is a host. Cancer becomes parasitic to the body it is in, feeding off of the absorbed nutrients and beginning to replace itself and multiply as a means to survive. It uses these altered cells to form its own organism, either as a tumor or as leukemia. It's the exact same principle with the Void. Its own dimension is running out of biomass to sustain itself. The Void is dying. It needs an emergency lifeline. Now. It just so happens that Valoran is extremely reliant on summoning. The process of summoning is not simply sending an object over here to a place over there. What happens is that the object is actually sent into the Void and is then brought back. Every time a summoning spell is performed, the barrier separating the Void and Runeterra becomes just a little bit thinner, like how stitching a peace of cloth only hinders the degradation of the now free fibers, and the Rune Wars certainly didn't help. For those of you who do not know what the Rune Wars were, they were a series of battles fought using World Runes; symbols whose shear magical powers can potentially tear apart the very fabric of space and time.
The Void now has access to Valoran and, seeing a way out of its doom, sent a full-on onslaught in the form of the Voidborn, among which was Chogath Cho'Gath, the Terror of the Void. At this point, it just wants something to bring back food. However, Chogath Cho'Gath learns the ways of the humans and becomes more than just a survival tactic, going so far as to turn malicious. He breaks away, not necessarily in revolt, but to fulfill himself, becoming, for the most part, lost to the Void. He is captured and now seeks entertainment among other personal goals before the greater good of the Void. The Void then realizes that if the human are so powerful as to capture a creature as great as Chogath Cho'Gath, surely it would only do the Void good to know how. At this point, the Void has a comprehension level about equal to an animal or perhaps an infant. It then tries to seek a way to know how a human, in its insignificance, could hope to defeat a Voidborn. It finds part of the answer in the human mind, the only place it can look to know for absolute certain what it is. It cannot hope to use telepathic magic, as it has no knowledge of this. Its only option to enter Valoran is via a crack through the barrier between their worlds. However, these cracks are not simply physical ones. If an object can be sent through the Void to another place in the physical realm, why can't the immaterial mind be sent to another place in the immaterial plane, to a place where it can view a new physical realm, even in a time yet to come? I personally believe that those among #039;s people who call themselves seers are no different than those who call themselves summoners in how they do what they do. The Void, instead of creeping into their world, creeps into their mind. One such man who has fallen victim to this is Malzahar Malzahar, the Prophet of the Void. By peering into Malzahar Malzahar's mind, the Void begins to learn. However, with its current mental state, there is only so much it can absorb. At this point, the Void has the mental capacity of a toddler. It experiments with this new knowledge by creating KogMaw Kog'Maw, the Mouth of the Abyss. The difference between him and the Voidborn that had gone before him, is that he was supplemented with something entirely new to the Void: Curiosity. Every creature is born with an innate sense of curiosity, but humans have it to a far greater extent because we have created a situation for ourselves in which we can devote more of our time to it. KogMaw Kog'Maw becomes the first natural-born learning Voidborn. Unfortunately, the only thing the Voidborn know is to eat, and this was the method used by the Void to learn. KogMaw Kog'Maw, of course, was later captured and the Void came to a realization: It could learn all it wanted, but it needed to apply this knowledge if the Void was going to keep living. However, it feared that something with this ability would go down the path of Chogath Cho'Gath, so it needed a way of keeping that creature away from humanity to the point where it wouldn't be infected by humanity's constant presence, but also an area in which it would have human interaction to test this new being. The ideal setting was none other than the abandoned, save for nomads, desert lands of Shurima. And so it imbued this new power upon a that was already in Valoran; one of the small creatures known as the Xer'Sai. This empowered Xer'Sai is now living under the name RekSai Rek'Sai. At this point, the Void has now reached equality with a ten-year-old. RekSai Rek'Sai was captured because she only had a specific set of skills; the Void now fully realized that in order to beat the humans, it needed to think like a human. In order to do this, it must know the human's greatest weapon against the Void. At first the Void thought that it was simply knowing and applying, but it now knows that it is a constant process; the process of adapting. And so, Khazix Kha'Zix, the Voidreaver, was born. With each kill and consumption, Khazix Kha'Zix absorbed his victim's strength and evolved. He used logic to use these powers in conjunction with one another to kill bigger and more powerful creatures. Unfortunately, this hunger not simply for sustenance, but for improvement, not to mention his encounter with Rengar Rengar, the Pridestalker, led him down the road of Chogath Cho'Gath, although he couldn't exactly move on as it was necessary to his advances to do consume Rengar Rengar. Ignoring this would simply put a stopper in Khazix Kha'Zix's evolution, as it would be like a sapling attempting to turn into a tree without breaking the shell of its seed. At this point, the Void is about the same as a teenager in terms of ability to think. Finally, the Void knows now that it must create a being entirely focused on learning and using this knowledge. A creature like this could never go rogue, as it would not become enraptured in anything that was unnecessary to the Void. It would help the Void to achieve a new goal it was now aware of. It created a physically versatile being with an increased ability to absorb information, as well as the ability to manipulate the environment; many traits of which were not ideally expressed through initial experiments, including KogMaw Kog'Maw. This being took the form of Velkoz Vel'Koz, the Eye of the Void. The Void now knows its own intellectual advances, and seeks to further them to outmatch the humans. It seeks to find something, a new layer of comprehension. That's why Velkoz Vel'Koz was created. That's why he has such an interest in Zilean Zilean, the Chrono Keeper: Because he is afflicted by the power of time, Temporal Magic. He constantly relives the past and thinks in dimensions of reality a regular human could never hope to achieve. The Void seeks knowledge so that it may overcome humanity. The Void is getting smarter. If it surpasses humanity in its ability to think, which even now rivals a human adult, there's no telling what kind of incomprehensible horror it could unleash upon Valoran. So there you have it, that's my theory. Opinions, corrections, and anything you want to add? I implore you to comment bellow. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a great day!
