Gangplanks new VO
Can't believe they nerfed his voice of all things

Shíny2 votesYeah, the new voice actor was way too conservative. His laughs are so timid, instead of having any full laughs he's all hehehe that's not gangplank. It's pretty disappointing because they'll never change it now :\
Lich Bane Sona2 votesKind of, I don't know, stripped the fun out of it? Even his laughs aren't as boisterous as they were before. I understand that they wanted to make him less of a caricature, but this feels... flat? Lifeless?
Overall, disappointed in the new VO. After Tahm's magnificent VO, I was pretty excited, too.
Z Statistic2 votesI agree purely by voice, but sometimes it just requires context. Remember that these lines are spoken with specific actions, so when they are coupled together with things we see and affect, they can be awesome.
Example: Lulu's laugh. By itself it's nothing special. Coupled with the animation and it's amazing.
zelias1 votesthey didn't nerf his voice they killed it
darapier171 votesit sounds like someone made a classy gangplank skin and completely removed all his pirateness D:
Seekêr1 votesI love the new voice. He sounds scarier, fits his niche better.
CyberTootie1 votesNot a fan.
