Ping volume

Since new patch (4.19) even with the ping volume slider at 100, and all other sounds at normal levels, it is almost inaudible to hear pings. this is both really annoying and makes solo q much more difficult as the sound of a ping is enough to trigger a look to see where on the minimap it was placed and react accordingly, but without hearing it, it makes it much harder to notice. this also causes teamwork issues as people dont hear mia or pings for an objective (some of us play with our chat box removed for certain unrelated reasons)

Riot, please. give us our ping volume back!

Hey Heleghir,

I revised the sliders in 5.2 so that they all reset to 75 when you choose "Restore Defaults". This will allow you to make the pings louder in game, without having having to lower every other slider and then raise pings. If you go to the patch notes and scroll down to "In-Game Audio Settings", that should sum up the changes. Here is the link to patch notes:

Maybe you need to turn down all the other volumes and keep the ping volume at max, and then turn up the overall volume of your computer. I don't have any problems about hearing pings, I even turned their volume down a bit.

Riot fixed a problem last patch where ping volume was about three times louder than was intended.
