How do you set your sound when playing?

I like to listen to music when i play, but I can't seem to get it on a sound setting that I really enjoy. So, when playing, do you guys listen to music? And when or if you do have music playing in the background, what is each parameter set to on your menu?

I put all the league game sounds down to about 10, then turn on Spotify way louder. I've always played with my music playing over the in game sounds.

Music set to 0.

Sounds/Voices set to about 15-20%

My music set to about 10% in the taskbar sound sliders.

Skype voice chat set anywhere from 100 to 60 via the sliders, depending on my friends' sound levels. The more that have headphones plugged in and proper voice capture settings, err.... set, the louder I can make them all. I'm the jungler/support for the group, and shot call most of plays.

I either run Pandora while I play, or load a youtube video on repeat, though I've been using Soundcloud on repeat more often the past couple days.

I turned off the in-game music long ago. I generally keep the system sound just above the second bar from the bottom and let my stereo make up the difference, the sound is much cleaner like that and with 140watt cabinet speakers it's usually not a problem. In volume control, all others aside from the master are maxed. If I listen to music I'll use winamp and, depending on the album, set it about halfway or so in winamp which amplifies the sound independently of the windows master volume. I started using iHeartRadio a few months ago and I just run that in the background while I play now. Surprisingly enough it seems to have little impact on my game performance.

I don't even remember where I set my in-game volume for sounds but the way I operate for almost every game is set it at a good spot and then adjust master volume up or down in windows with my media volume keys on my keyboard. So much easier this way.

I.. have a complicated setup, but it works well for me. I have two stereo outs from my computer, one from the built in sound card and one from my audio interface. I'm considering finding a cheapish USB soundcard for a third out so I can separate system/game sounds from music and from voice. I have league and music going through the built in card and voice coms going out through the audio interface (thinking about it, it might be better fidelity wise to flip that) into channels 1-4 respectively on my mixer (1,3 panned left, 2,4 panned right). I have those channels set to go out through my group bus and the stereo bus. I also have a microphone for the stereo bus and I have the monitor settings to monitor the group bus (so I don't have to listen to the sound of my own voice other than to set mic levels). This is setup so that I can have the most control over levels when I stream (unfortunately, since I've moved, my internet is not good enough to stream...thank you uverse).

Those of you who don't get to hear any sounds from the game, you're limiting yourself in two ways. 1: there's a lot of audio cues in the game that can help alert you to what's happening in game, for example pings (though they can get annoying if someone is spamming them >_>), but also things like, say you're standing near your tower in top lane, but you're watching bot lane in case you need to teleport, since you're not watching your character, you don't see the emblem over your head that warwick is near and smells you at lower health (I'm assuming you'd be able to do something bot lane with lower health [you're a tank or something idk]), but if you had sound effects enabled (and the ww was silly and didn't disable his E), you'd hear ww howl. Plus, I don't know how you can go through life not having heard the satisfying noise of a Nidalee spear hitting its target or the great noise when you land a Mundo cleaver.
