Weird, weird audio glitch.

So I play league not a small amount and it doesn't do this often but it's happened enough recently to where I feel the need to write this. I start league and halfway through the game I start to get a bit frame-y and things just get choppy. Now this goes on for about 5 min and then the sound just cuts out. Like everywhere. I close league completely to restart it and I don't have sound on my computer. Now here is how I know it isn't just a strange computer audio issue. I restart league and finish my game and_ voila_, there it is. Audio normal. Also a weird thing is when it is mid glitch, i try to alt-tab league and I cant switch out of it. If I Ctrl-alt-delete to task manager or something, I don't get the TM I get a windows task bar and a black screen with a league border. I got out of it last time by hovering over the icon in the task bar and clicking the x in the upper right and I get a send report pop-up. Anybody heard of this?

Sorry I know this is a wordy post.

TL;DR: My league gets frame-y and then the audio cuts out on my whole computer until I finish the game.
