Weird, weird audio glitch.

So I play league not a small amount and it doesn't do this often but it's happened enough recently to where I feel the need to write this. I start league and halfway through the game I start to get a bit frame-y and things just get choppy. Now this goes on for about 5 min and then the sound just cuts out. Like everywhere. I close league completely to restart it and I don't have sound on my computer. Now here is how I know it isn't just a strange computer audio issue. I restart league and finish my game and_ voila_, there it is. Audio normal. Also a weird thing is when it is mid glitch, i try to alt-tab league and I cant switch out of it. If I Ctrl-alt-delete to task manager or something, I don't get the TM I get a windows task bar and a black screen with a league border. I got out of it last time by hovering over the icon in the task bar and clicking the x in the upper right and I get a send report pop-up. Anybody heard of this?

Sorry I know this is a wordy post.

TL;DR: My league gets frame-y and then the audio cuts out on my whole computer until I finish the game.

You sure your CPU/GPU isn't overheating or something?

No I am pretty sure that isn't the problem. I have two fans that I know are functioning and the tower is in an open area so it's not as if its bathing in its own heat. I actually recently deleted all files in association with league and re downloaded the game and it hasn't given me much trouble since. But I though the problem was worth posting due to the oddity.

If League is working fine now that's good, but for future reference you still want to monitor your CPU heat even if the fans appear to work perfectly. Faulty installation (usually lack of thermal paste) or overvoltage can cause more heat than a fan can displace effectively.
