Azir Lines

So it's been awhile (almost a year) since Ascension graced us as well as . However some of his lines sadly were only for Ascension and with no idea when it would return, I would like to propose the idea that some lines be enabled for his regular voiceover. Below I will list the lines I believe make the most sense to add back into his voiceover without Ascension. This does mean however, all lines will make it into what I believe to be the best candidates.

I have chosen these lines because they aren't as direct as the other ones upon starting a game of Ascension. To me these lines should be able to work on SR without seeming too out of place, and maybe the other maps too. Upon starting a game "Like the sun, Shurima always rises!" "The future will be written by the ascended!" "Here, we shall decide the future of Shurima!"

Now instead of "Upon starting a game with Nasus (or Sivir)" I believe that these could be reworked into allied taunts (like how Tahm Kench is able to taunt allies). "It has been a long wait, Nasus, but it will be worth it." "Let us return to our rightful place, Nasus." "It is our right to rule, Sivir." "Together, we shall strive toward victory, Sivir."

Seeing as Deathfire Grasp is no longer an available item, I would like to propose the next line be enabled upon purchase for Luden's Echo as it makes the most sense considering the context of the sentence. If you're wondering why Luden's Echo, Azir does have lines for the and so I don't see why Luden's Echo would be out of the question. "Nothing is beyond my reach." Upon purchase of

Now, the next set of lines I believe would work best if Azir were to score the killing blow on Dragon, Baron Nashor, and Vilemaw. Seeing as is no longer an objective to obtain power from, I see these as the next best things without the game mode Ascension. However, their inclusion I believe would be optional. "I will guide us to glory." "You need not follow me... but you cannot stop me."

Now these are too are also optional as they are praises said at the end of a match (if Ascension). But seeing as Azir has lines for the beginning of a match, I do not see no reason they could not be added at the end of one. "This is but one step on a long and glorious path." "At last, Shurima will reach its destiny!" "None shall ever question the power of Shurima!"

One last line. I cannot seem to find where Azir says this, and was wondering if anyone knew of how to have him speak it? "You cannot topple Shurima." Please leave a comment below if you know how to activate it. If it is not enabled, leave a comment on how you think it would best serve Azir.

So what do you guys believe? Should Riot try to include these lines into Azir's regular ones or keep them exclusively for Ascension? Maybe include some (like the change from Deathfire Grasp to Luden's Echo) but not all? Tell me your thoughts, and if any reds would like to chime in their own thoughts, the more the merrier!

Edit- Crewx has reminded me that there are other champions that got Ascension only lines. How about it guys, let them have their VO expanded in regular gameplay too!

I remember a quote from C3Sound said about this:

With Mode specific VO, some of the lines made for the mode would not work out-of-mode context. However, there were additional taunts that were held over to his full kit. If the new VO is not mode specific, we will use it for the full kit. However, I will ask our narrative team to take a look and see if there are any lines that were held to be reconsidered for full kit!

However with careful consideration and throughout discussions among their peers, I believe that they can find VO lines that work outside Ascension for the champions. Maybe months ago that discussion didn't go the same way, but in time thoughts can change. Hopefully they can spark this discussion again and come to a different conclusion?
