Check box option to turn off the launch button sound?

Ever since that sound has been added when you click launch, it's become increasingly more frustrating and honestly a bit unnecessary.

So instead of making a suggestion for it to be removed, how about a check box, similar to the two that are on the log in screen, to turn off the sound? Just a thought.

Workin' on it - will hopefully be in next patch.

Thanks Eno! It's great to hear that you're working on this. As a matter of opinion, I think something -15dB from the current is a better neutral volume.

To others, if you want to manually override the sound files while we wait, they're located in

...\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_patcher\managedfiles\0.0.0.9\Content\Runtime\RiotClient\Release\bundle-chrome\src\audio

I'd recommend making backups because it's unclear whether Riot will push the files again when the next patch ships and you might just end up permanently softer launch sounds (and maybe get a nasty surprise if they ever change it).

After hurting my ears every time I logged in while forgetting to mute the game for the past few months I decided to look for this post. Thanks for the file location, taking the .ogg into Audition and dropping it -20db or so helped a lot.

Not sure why the launch noise is so much louder than the rest of the game. Surprised it's so hard for them to add this small fix.

Thanks for adding this :)

I agree this would be a great option. This is already done for all other interfaces. Please provide this option for the new launcher.

Same here. Nowdays even a flash game let people choose play with/without sound That sound is really unnecessary

Honestly, I hate this noise. I haven't found a way to turn it down or off. It isn't controlled by your in client volume (which I have turned way down). For me it seems to come through at like 150% volume.

It should just be removed.. but at a minimum it needs to had either an 'off' option or settings for volume level.
