I was just curious, I have no clue if this was answered before or not (and am simply to lazy to go look through the forums and whatnot), but why was DJ Sona's cute sound she made during her Dance emote removed? The little "wub wub wub wub" that played every time she bounced in the PBE was ADORABLE and made her dance that much more enjoyable. I dunno, maybe I'm just insane (quite possible)
It was pretty cute, huh? We actually ended up getting rid of it because, to DJ Sona's teammates (who could also hear the music), that "wub wub wub" sound wasn't 100% obvious that it belonged to her dance and just sounded like it was part of the music. This would've been fine--except for the fact that the animation couldn't be in time with the music at all times, causing the sound effect to be out of time as well. The pairing of these two problems gave us a lot of feedback that having an inherently rhythmic emote that doesn't revolve around her music ended up clashing, so we removed the SFX D:
