Stagger Lee (Lee Shelton) Reference in Twisted Fate's VO

So I staggered (pun intended) upon a Twisted Fate Quote that he has a chance of saying when issuing an attack. He says: "Nobody touches the hat." Now if anyone who is unfamiliar with the story of Stagger Lee/Lee Shelton, he was a man of questionable repute back in the day (1895) who had a felt hat. A man known as William "Billy" Lyons (yes, like a lion), offended Mr. Shelton by touching his felt hat, and ruining it. As a result, Stagger Lee shot Lyons, and killed the young man. Stagger Lee was since then popularized as folk song hero/villain, and is most known for sticking up for his honor, as seen when Lyons disrespected him. Now, it could be purely coincidence that Twisted Fate says this quote, as he seems like someone who wouldn't want to touch his hat. However, I feel like this quote has more meaning to it, and I wonder if a Rioter who spent hours working up the VO lines (writing them) has been waiting this long for some player to discover this little secretive meaning.

Or I'm just digging too deep into something so plain and simple. Either way, I have a new appreciation for Twisted Fate.
