Having some problems with sound levels in 4.19

So I haven't seen anyone else discussing this so hopefully it's something I'm doing wrong.

When I go into Q the music that plays is REALLY loud, and the bass is really heavy to the point where I have to drop my headphone speakers down significantly or they crackle (and I go deaf).

However, when I get into game, everything is perfect.

I have never had this problem until today so I assume it's related to the patch. Any help would be appreciated. My in game sound levels are all at default and have been for a while, although I don't think this is part of the problem.

Thanks much

the initial launch sound is so offensive I have to turn my speakers off before I start league. If you can't regulate sound levels across the game please go back to not having the sound. I don't have menu sounds on in the first place so this new added thump is not welcomed.

The volume settings for the PVP.net client and the game client are independent of each other.
