I want to get the Korean voice overs in game right, so I youtubed and google'd tutorials for it. It says open windows explorer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\system and open the file named "locale", then simply change the language code to whatever you want, in my case ko_KR for Korean. I did this, but it proceeds to tell me access is denied. Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening?
I'm with you man. I would love to have the option to switch announcer packs as well. I LOVE the Korean announcer lines for the kill streak counting "double kill, triple kill"
I would pay money for alternate english announcer packs... just throwing that out there
You probably need administrative rights enabled while accessing the file. If you are on Windows 7 then you can unlock the administrative account. It's easy to do just google it.
I've done the process you're talking about and while it was successful for a few games eventually i would just crash over and over.

I use korean voices but i still haven't figured out how to change the "multi-kill" "legendary" or any of those. All the voices are in but I couldn't get the announcements to work.
I wouldn't pay money for this, it's pretty simple to swap a file out. I also have the chinese artwork/character's being used. Tons better.
Download League Summoner Information app. It has an option to change your client language
