Season End Award

I play less than half a year on a new account because I got banned on the first one. I was struggling to get into gold because of Victorian skins. I got into gold in both flex mode and solo / duo. But I didn't get the "award" (skin and icons) because I'm not the right honor level, or you honor level 2. I don't think this is even fair. For example, a new player comes in, fits the game, starts playing it and being really good at it, comes to a bigger division, but at the end of the season he won't get anything because it's not the right honor level. In my case it is impossible as I have not been playing for 6 months on this account, it is not clear to me how I could get to honor level 2.
