With Zyra possibly getting a rework...I thought I would have fun

Zyra is getting some love from Riot and it seems like she is a pretty good candidate for some major reworking. I've read the notes and comments and seen what people want in Zyra and I thought it would be fun to try and create a Zyra that fits these desires.

To tackle this idea for a rework I really wanted to capture what people wanted and what Riot is talking about...not the easiest thing to do. What I come up with will probably not fit the mold completely but this is where the fun (hopefully) come in. I'll be editing to make changes based on feedback and the more I get the better. I might be missing a key aspect or two but for now I am just picking up what Riot is talking about and what I see requested a lot for her. Zyra is so full of potential with her theme/lore that her kit has huge flexibility it would be nice to have something that even riot would like to take a look at.

Zyra, Rise of the Thorns

The Stats

Passive My Friends Are All Around - Bushes within 1000 range of Zyra become hostile to her enemies and deal Level x 2 + (0.07% AP) magic damage per second to her enemies. If Zyra is within the bush this damage is doubled and the enemies that are within the bush are slowed by 30%.

Seeds - Zyra's basic abilities have a first cast ability that can plant a seed at a target location for 30 seconds, granting sight of a small area around it. Up to 3 seeds can be planted at a time, and planting an additional seed destroys the oldest. After 1.5 seconds, enemy champions can step on a seed to destroy it, but doing so grants true sight of them for 2 seconds and applies My Friends Are All Around damage for those 2 seconds.

Q Deadly Vines First Cast: Plant a seed within 900 range. Second Cast: Zyra lashes out with a vine and the first enemy within 600 hit takes dealing 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 60% AP) magic damage to the first target hit. If this is cast on a plant or seed within 600 Zyra can direct the vine whip from that plant by clicking and dragging in the direction desired. When cast on a seed the seed becomes a Vine Lasher, when clicking on a Vine Lasher Deadly Vines deals +30% damage and the Vine Lasher has it's duration refreshed.

W Deadly Growth **First Cast: **Plant a seed within 900 range. Second Cast: When cast on an enemy target they become infested with spores that cause thorny vines to grow wildly outward form them dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 80% AP) magic damage over 4 seconds and slowing the target's movement by 10% initially which increases over the duration up to 40/50/60/70%. Enemies within 300 of the target are slowed by half and take half damage as the vines try to latch onto them. If this is cast on a Vine Lasher it grows to gigantic proportions gains double HP, deals double damage and it's duration is increased by 10 seconds. All vine lashers within 600 on this Giant Vine Lasher gain 50% extra range on their attack. If this is cast on a seed the seed grows into 2 Vine lashers.

E Grasping Roots First Cast: Plant a seed within 900 range. Second Cast: Cast on a plant or seed within 900 to create a writhing mass of tangling roots that deals 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+ 50% AP) magic damage and roots enemies for 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 seconds. Casting on a seed or seeds caught within the AoE creates a Vine Lasher. Casting on a Vine Lasher makes its attacks slow enemies by 50% for 2 seconds for the duration of the plant.

R Stranglethorns Active: Zyra summons a monstrous thicket at the target location, dealing 100 / 200 / 300 (+ 70% AP) magic damage to all enemies in the area as it expands. After 2 seconds, the vines snap upward, knocking up all enemies caught in the thicket for 1 second. All Seeds become Vine lashers and then all Vine Lashers within the area have 50% increased attack speed and have their duration refreshed by up to 3/4/5 seconds.

PETS

Vine Lasher HP: 100 + (25 × level) + (20%AP) Damage: 23 (+ 6.5 × Zyra's level) (+ 20% AP) Range: 600 Attack Speed: 0.8 (1.2 during Stranglethorns). Duration: 10 seconds.

What's going on? These changes makes the moving and replanting of her seeds a lot easier. They also have total HP instead of a weird number of hits HP system. The biggest note is that it is really easy to make use of her plants because she can get 3 seeds pretty quickly so a lot of her AoE damage is reduced and instead placed into the reliability of her plants. Instead of having multiple plant types I choose to just haev a basic vine lasher and have it be modified. It's range is a bit lower then the the old Q version but it can quickly be amped up. As her plants are so easy to use now it become a more viable option to punish engages by quickly setting up a hostile area and the use of Stranglethorns is now very dangerous for those that get knocked up. it is possible to have more then 4 plants now with high CDR. This drastically increases her power as a counter-engage champion. Once the enemy engages just setup hell for them and the team does their best to keep them within harms way. With the bushes turning against enemies and extra plants it would seem like quite a huge army of plants is turning against the enemy making it seem like the forest is turning against them. My biggest concern is that the passive is still clunky but I felt that she should always have a presence in the jungle and turning bushes that junglers often wait in is a good way to really emphisize that. It doesn't grant Zyra vision but it creates some pretty intense pressure for junglers waiting in a bush to gank.
