"A happy end. A sad end. Neither, or both. For Willow, however you consider her end it only began her new unlife as death served to unlock her truest potential--a magical attunement with the dead. A Demacian noble and latant mage who was slain at the very alter where she were to be wed to a Mageseeker, Willow now roams the lands while chasing one rumor to the next in search of her beloved killer. "

Willow is best described as a Fickle Enchanter, having abilities to help her move about the battlefield and either boost up allies or target down foes. She gets that job done with ghostly travels, summonable spirit-pals that assist allied champions or hinder enemies, the power to captivate or terrorize, and when all else fails, unleash the fury of a bride scorned!

[Passive] Ghostwalk: When fleeing enemy champions with a higher health percentage, Willow gains movement speed. While Willow's movement speed is above a certain amount, she ignores unit collision and becomes camouflaged whether or not she's in combat. As well, while above a slightly less amont of movement speed, non-champion enemies will have a 50% chance to miss their attacks against her.

[Q] Willow's Wisps: When tapped Willow cycles between three summonable Wisps. When held on a target, Willow draws forth the selected Wisp which travels as a will-o-wisp to that target until reaching them--or returning to target Willow once a certain range is reached--wherein they become targetable ally monsters. The functions of these Wisps depend on the type:

  • Striker Wisps increase ally damage output or lower enemy damage output while also dealing ranged magic damage to an ally's targets or the targeted enemy. "Strike with my love!"
  • Chubby Wisps travel slower than Strikers and will increase ally or lower an enemy damage resistance while also increasing ally health and mana regeneration or damaging the targeted enemy's health over time via a magical tether. "You'll do it, Chubs!"
  • Hyper Wisps travel faster than Strikers and will increase ally or decrease enemy movement speed while also providing an initial burst that will occur again after a certain distance is traveled. They also deal AP-based physical damage with melee attacks, retreating from the enemy Champion between each attack. (Minions that kite! Woo!) "Ah! W-wait up!"

Wisps are stockpiled over time and follow their target for a certain amount of time--or until defeated--until retreating. Only a certain number of Wisps can be called at a time--the earliest Wisp called will bid Willow farewell as the lastest Wisp appears--only a certain number of Wisps and type of Wisp can follow a single target at a time, the affects stacking in a limited manner.

[W] Wiggle Room: Wisp quickly travels to a location or in a direction with a ghostly, supernatural sway, avoiding non-DoT damage and gaining a burst of movement speed that decays over time to a flat amount. After a short delay, this ability can be recast to travel a distance at a fraction of the maximum range of the initial cast.

[E] Ghastly Visage: Empowering herself with spectral energy, Wiillow gains a shield which grows as the key is held. Also, Willow cycles between emotions of the joy of her wedding day and the sorrow of her murder, either charming enemies closer or fearing them away when the key is released. Whichever the case, CC time is increased as the key is held to an extent.

[R] Wail of a Bride Scorned: Willow enters a quick channel, loosening a shout which sounds differently to allies and enemies--either a horrifying scream to enemies or a melancholic song to allies--affecting Champions within range. For a timed duration after which extends with takedowns, Willow becomes a vengeful poltergeist or a forlorned maiden, gaining the buffs of all her Wisps while also altering both her and her Wisps' abilities. Basic attacks will apply a DoT debuff based on her AP. (At first I questioned whether it's possible to have allies and enemies see and hear different things, but then I had to smack myself because Stealth and DJ Sona are things in this game lol)

  • Q automatically targets a pair of Champions within range--a single Ally and Enemy at each cast--with an empowered Wisp, the corresponding Wisp--which cycles from Stiker to Chubby to Hyper--appearing beside the necessary target. Striker Wisps target Champions with the highest adaptive Attack Damage or Ability Power, and applies increased affects while having faster attack speed. Chubby Wisps target enemy Champions with the highest combined Armor and Magic Resist and ally Champions with the lowest, and applies increased affects while also applying a quicker damage over time to enemy Champions or increasing ally Champions' health and mana regenerations even further. Hyper Wisps target enemy Champions with the highest movement speed and ally Champions with the lowest, not only moving quicker and attacking faster themselves but also decreasing the distance necessary to travel to grant their afflicted targets the movement speed-affecting bursts. Typical limitations to Wisps will apply.

  • W can only be used in a single set of casts during Wail fo the Bride Scorned, but it's speed and range increases, it gains an additional cast, and saps a small percentage of health from those within her travel path and at a short area at her end location. Takedowns grant an additional cast.

  • E shield increases at a higher rate and the range of her it's CC affect increases--the duration of which drastically decreasing the further away from Willow the enemies are. Allies are also bolstered, moving towards Willow faster.

Playstyle: Willow enjoys traveling, and excels on the move. Keeping in-motion is key to survival and winning trades since she has less than average defenses. That said, smart use of her Wisps will mitigate her shortcomings, and if you have a reliable teammate on your side you'll be able to excel in lane.

  • Wisps aren't very powerful but can serve as either a distracting nuisance to enemies or just the right amount of oomph for allies or Willow herself, so make sure you're using the right Wisp for the job.
  • In cased you're being focused, give yourself some Wiggle Room and retreat; If you're savvy enough, return to the fray.
  • Though the shield increases over time, Ghastly Visage isn't a reliable survival tool and should only be relied upon when you're not the primary focus of enemy attacks, so be careful when charging those pipes to release one whale of a tale.
  • Speaking of "wails", when all else fails, don't be afraid to show everyone who Willow really is with Wail of the Scorned Bride and let loose the all the pent-up aggression that she felt on her wedding day. Draw out Willow's full power, and if all the small buffs and debuffs don't carry your team to victory, the distraction of Willow's chaos will allow your allies to do so.

Full bio coming eventually

[slayer-jinx-unamused] I don't know why I spent all evenining typing this nonsense and listening to Jazz, but it's an idea I really like now that it's typed. Despite me mentioning that I stole the idea from Warframe's character THAT'LL BE RELEASED THIS WEEK HOOHAH the only actual connection is the reference to ghosts and summoning buffs. The rest comes out of my head. Well, hope you guys enjoy this concept. And if you wanna take a look at my other character concept, go for it. Questions? Like what you see? Criticisms? Tell me what you think, and upvote if you'd like to see a champion that's at least some way like this. I think this game would benefit from a Champion where the pets/minions actually do something more than kill everything in sight...remember when Yorick's ghouls each did different things? Now they're just extra minions. Boooring... And Tibbers might as well be a walking fireball. Daisy's cool, if you like rocks that punch you.
