This is just my idea of what cool lore a champion could potential have. I might make some more but if you read this enjoy if you're into the lore :))

Irissa Her shoes scratched against the gravel, her chest heaving, her heart pounding. The gravel gave under her feet, she feel, sliding to a stop. Her elbows were on fire with pain. She scrambled to get up. A quick look behind was enough to remind her that he was gaining on her. Shoes sliding on the gravel she ran. She knew she wouldn't make it, her luck had run out, she'd bitten off more than she could chew. It was just 2 hours ago she'd been living a 'normal' life. It wasn't as though she could live one, her parents had died when she was 13. Thriving off bag snatching she'd survived. It wasn't like she always got away with it either, the officer of the area and Irissa had become well acquainted over the past 6 years, the sheriff didn't know the half of what Irissa had done over those 6 years. But this was different, as soon as she touched that briefcase she knew she shouldn't have. She knew everyone in her small town, but not this guy, never laid eyes on him, but he looked important. She'd been an idiot to think she could get away with this one. She snatched the briefcase, speeding along the sidewalk. All her fears melted away as the adrenaline kicked in. Her muscles working overtime, she ran to the towns inn, losing her pursuer in the crowd, she'd done this too many times and become cocky. She was too full of herself to notice when she came out the back door of the inn that she was being tailed. She jogged the rest of the way to her apartment. She opened the briefcase and her breath caught, it wasn't a laptop or luggage. It was bigger than that, a lot bigger. She knew she'd just been caught deep in something she couldn't get back out of. It was an ancient shuriman talisman. It was pure of that she was sure. All of this was taken in with just a single glance. She shut the briefcase and threw it under her couch, not the most brilliant hiding spot. But it'd do for now. She was panicking now. She hadn't ever done something like this before. She went to the window her heart already pounding her chest. She saw the man she'd taken it from right below her. Her breath caught in her throat. He entered her apartment building. She scolded herself for not being more careful at the inn. She opened the window, looking down the ground seemed too far away and at midnight there was no pedestrian cover. But there was the cover of night, and that was where she thrived. She leaped, right as the first bang on her fragile door echoed into her room. The ground came up to meet her too quickly. She rolled as her feet hit the ground looked back up to her window and saw the man standing there. His eyes glowed white, she shivered and started to run. She looked back hoping he wouldn't follow only, to her horror see a figure drop from the open window and land on the ground behind her. She'd run to where she was now, at a pond side. Gravel scraping her face as she lay there, broken. She wouldn't make it this time. It was over. She stood wanting to face her pursuer with dignity. She stood facing towards her pursuer, chin up, defiant till the end. She shut her eyes waiting for the shot to ring out, but it never does. She opens her eyes to see him standing there grinning, his gun pointing towards her chest. She didn't want this sick twisted man to be what she saw last, she steadied her resolve and threw herself to the side into the pond. It was a hopeless effort. One to buy her a few last seconds at the most. As soon as her face was submerged she opened her eyes hoping she could see something in the darkness. What she got was a fluorescent green staring her in the face. The green mist around her thickened and drew towards her. It flowed into her body. She felt empowered. Not just that she felt unbeatable, she stood in the water, swam to the surface and felt her face break the water. Her eyes glowed with shadow as she stood. The man fired, she ran at him, time slowing down. She saw the bullet coming, dived forward and rolled towards him feeling the bullet sting her shoulder as it passed. She reached him and struck him with a force she never knew she had. His body was thrown backwards, she rushed forward to meet him as he tried to regain his footing. Grabbing the collar of his shirt she saw the fear in his eyes. The way she had felt mere seconds before. She bent down her face almost touching his. She uttered 4 words. "Pursue me; you die." He nodded his head. Before she felt as though she didn't have a place in the world. Now she knew it. She was Irissa. And she would protect the innocent. Ty for reading :) let me know if you enjoyed.
