Ping on home screen.

I'm sure someone has to have suggested this before, and I apologise if this is in the wrong board but I couldn't see anywhere smarter to post it but I just thought as I couldn't find it already suggested anywhere - As the title says Could we get a MS/Ping counter on the home screen somewhere? I'd like to know if I'm having lag spikes (or your servers are) before I join and am forced to play with 500 ping spikes every 3 seconds cos cox are being... well... their name.
