The older champion spotlights are really starting to show their age.

As league goes on, it becomes a more complex, and imo, a more fun game.

Champion spotlights are usually a great starting place to learn all about that one champion you want to main. But this leads to a problem, some spotlights are outdated.

Champion spotlights introduce champions kits, build suggestions, setups, tips, playstyles, and more. While things like builds, setups, playstyles, etc can all be looked over, some spotlights have outdated kits which have been slightly reworked. The best example i can think of is Ashe (although there are much older and much needed updates) Ashe had her frost shot reworked to her passive and focus reworked into her Q. Those two abilities have key differences now and have different tips and uses.

Another one would have to be Xin. His spotlight is super outdated considering his mini rework and just when the spotlight in itself was made, which was 2010. 8 years ago.

Overall I think updating champion spotlights every now and then would be a great thing, as it would make sure every champion is being treated fairly and has a champion spotlight which actually teaches you about their kits. not their old kits either.

I think they're slowly getting to it. I'm not sure if they'll only come with reworks and such, but so far Varus has been revisited lore and art-wise, and a Swain rework soon to come, with a visual update as well.

We can only assume that more champions will receive changes as league moves forward [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

What's exactly the more complex when Lee keeps getting buffs and becomes more and more a QQ >R > RIP champ with low cooldowns... If that's complex I'm my name in reality...
