Daedalin, The Master of Gravity

Daedalin is an AP assassin designed around his glove, which has the ability to control gravity. He build up Power, then releases a small field of gravity that consumes power every second to enhance his basic attack range and his abilities. He has good zone control and a level of burst. I've attempted to increase his burst in different ways after creating the initial concept without making him completely busted and without reworking the kit that he had before.

Lore: Daedalin is a Noxian assassin who will kill anyone for the right price. He killed swiftly and silently, never being discovered while on a job. With his dagger, he was one of the deadliest men in all of Noxus. One of his jobs led him to Zaun, to kill an inventor and steal his invention --- a glove said to have the ability to control gravity. The man who gave him the job offered a sum of money he couldn't refuse. He, as usual, refused to take any less than half before the job was done. "You try to give me less than half down, and I'll kill you," he said. The job was taken, and he got his half down. He went to Zaun and slipped into the man's research facility, found the room the mark was in, and attacked. The mark, however, had been practicing with the glove. He was discovered quickly, and forced against the wall by it. He couldn't move. "Well, well," the mark said, in a metallic voice. It was clear that he, like many other denizens of Zaun, had submitted to Viktor's designs. "I have been expecting an assassin to come since my lab assistant ran off. He was a greedy man. No doubt he wants you to kill me and take this?" he said, holding the glove up to Daedalin's face. "Exactly, and I don't lose on my jobs," Daedalin responded. He threw the knife at the mark, hitting his chest square on. The man didn't seem phased by it, but when he pulled the knife out, black oil started leaking from his body. It wouldn't be long until the oil that powered his machinery was all over the floor, and he was as dead as an android can be. He didn't even seem to notice, though. "You know, I've never understood why people get those extreme mechanical makeovers," Daedalin said. "The augmentations remove the limitations of the human body! No longer am I limited by pain, by hunger or thirst, by my humanity!" "Although, in this situation, pain is a good thing. Look at your chest." He looked, and his eyes grew wide in horror as his oil drained onto the floor. It was mere seconds after he first saw it that he ran out, and his body went limp from a lack of energy. "Agh! I knew I should've gotten the battery installed!" he said, furious that he was defeated like that. Daedalin walked up to him and grabbed his dagger, thrusting it into his head for the final kill before grabbing the glove and walking out.

"Now pay me the other half," he said to the man who gave the job. "It's done, and you can have the glove as soon as you give me the other half." "I--I don't have all of the money that I offered, half was all I had! If you'll give me a month, I can have it all ready for you!" "Sorry, but I don't work on credit," Daedalin said, activating the glove and using the gravity field to slit the man's throat with his knife from a distance. "Man, this thing is awesome!" he said. A year down the line, a Noxian general asked him to assassinate Jarvan IV. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight him yet, so he joined the League of Legends to train. He didn't even accept the half down that the general offered, he knew the man would keep his word. He simply left for the Institute of War.

Kit: Passive: In addition to Mana, which is used to cast his spells while his glove is inactive, he has Power, which charges while moving at a rate of 1/50 units and 5 per basic attack. He can store a maximum of 100 Power. Power is consumed passively while the glove is active, triggered by his W. Details are talked about further there. In addition, he can buy Hextech Capacitors from the shop, up to four. They don’t take up item slots and he can buy them anywhere. They each increase his Power by 50 and increase his power generation to 1/40 units, then 1/30, 1/20, and 1/10 and 7/9/11/13 per basic attack. Hextech Capacitors cost 1000 gold each and also grant +5 AP each. When all four are bought, his total AP is increased by 10%. Finally, he gains bonus damage equal to 0.5% per 20 Power he has generated. This cannot drop below half of the maximum while his glove is active. Max is 2.5/5.0/7.5/10.0/12.5% increased damage. Q: He throws his dagger in a line, dealing damage to the first enemy hit. Damage: 60/90/120/150/180 +70% AP Magic Damage Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7 seconds Empowered: if you are within the field, he instead breaks a targeted section of wall, making it so that everyone can pass through it as if it wasn’t there. The wall is turned into four small boulders that are controlled by the gauntlet. They act like Yasuo’s Wind Wall as they follow behind him, but have a passive drain on power as long as they’re being carried. For a small amount of power, he will throw one of them in a line, dealing damage to and stunning the first enemy hit, afterwards it breaks into shards and flies behind the enemy, dealing damage in a cone. If it doesn’t hit an enemy, the rock will simply remain where it lands. The wall will regrow 30 seconds after being picked up. Damage per Boulder: 30/40/50/60/70 +40% AP Magic Damage Cost: 15 Power Cooldown: 4 seconds W: He activates the glove, creating a field initially surrounding himself, but not following him as he moves, of high gravity. All units are slowed while inside the field, friend or foe, by 20%. He can use basic attacks on any enemy as long as both of them are in the area, no matter how far away they are Other abilities are empowered while the field is active. Power drains at a rate of 2/second while the glove is active. Reactivating the W will turn the High Gravity Field into a Low Gravity Field, turning the 20% slow on all units in the area into a 20% speed buff on all units in the area. Reactivating a second time will deactivate the gravity field early. In addition, on activation and on switching into the low gravity field, all minions, small jungle monsters, and rocks in the area are pulled to the center for high gravity and pushed away for low gravity, dealing damage to all enemies hit along the way 100 units past the outskirts of the field from the center. All units will fly the same distance, so units in the center will fly to 100 units past the outside of the field while units 100 units away from the center will fly 200 units past the outside, and so on. This deals the same damage as the empowered Q. E: He throws his dagger in a line, dealing damage to the first enemy hit and pulling himself to whatever it hits. If it doesn’t hit anything, he will pull himself to the ground where it ended. If it hits a wall or the ground, the cooldown will be reduced by 90%. If it hits a wall within the first half of its range, it will travel through the wall and won’t gain the cooldown reduction. Damage: 70/75/80/85/90 +60% AP Magic Damage Cost: 70 mana Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds Empowered: His next 3 basic attacks deal increased damage and dash him half the distance between himself and the target. If his target is outside of the gravity field, his range is 600. If the target is within, he can hit them anywhere. Hitting an enemy champion with all 3 buffed basic attacks will deal even more bonus damage. He can also attack a wall, breaking a rock off with every basic attack. The first two will dash him closer to the wall, and the third will dash him over it. The rocks will follow behind him just as his empowered Q does and act the same as well. They will be thrown if his Q is active and he reactivates to throw them just the same as the rocks from his Q itself. If his Q is on cooldown, he can reactivate it to throw them anyways. Damage increase: 20/30/40/50/60 +30% AP Magic Damage Cost: 20 Power Cooldown: 6 seconds R: Passive: Every third basic attack or spell will deal 8/10/12% (+1% for every 80 AP Daedalin has) of the target’s current health in magic damage. Active: Only while within a gravity field, he picks up and breaks all walls within the field. After 2 seconds, they will fly around the area of the entire field, dealing damage, then breaking into dust as it flies around the field a second time, dealing 1/2 damage. Enemies hit by both the rocks and the dust are stunned. Damage: 400/450/500 +100% AP Magic Damage Cost: 60 Power Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds
