How about a Bard for a new Champ?
From what I understand, we'll probably just be getting more VGU news from the upcoming Champ Roadmap that's set to release sometime in the middle of this month of August, and that's perfectly fine. Riot said they would be focusing more on VGU's than new Champs this year.

We could even call him a Spoony Bard, I don't care! Considering I take most my understanding of Bards from the Job Class seen in the Final Fantasy games, he'd probably have to be a Support. Since in said game series, Bards focus on supporting party members and providing beneficial status boosts or effects.

could have a Duo; he provides the lyrics and she provides the music!
Yeah, I know, she's part of Pentakill and they've already got a lead singer in the form of 
. But in terms of actual theme, neither he or are ACTUAL Bards. Maybe it's because I'm in a Final Fantasy mood (Replaying all the games).
