[Champion Concept] Ominos, the Cosmic Preceptor
First of all, I apologize for my English, at some point I might not be too clear with the abilities or explaining, but I tried my best.
Concept in short: Ominos is a cosmic/celestial being who collects knowledge from parts of the universe and other alternative universes (he is basically present in different planes too at the same time) and seeks to share his wisdom. By trying to "teach" others, he also tries to discipline them. He communicates through mind, so everyone is able to understand him. He is a rather magic oriented character with being a kind of "anti-nuke" mage, since his passive allows him to not be nuked out in a blink of an eye all the time, however dots are a weakness of his. He has one slight form of crowd control which is forcing enemy champions to look at his direction, or his ultimate that slows on damaging them. The only kind of escape he has is temporary and is his ultimate. His kit is supposed to allow him different plays and combos. Lore-wise he is an immortal being and would be probably "friends" or "allied" with Bard and Soraka. I'm not exactly good with the lore, so I would skip the lore part here.
Role: Mage Resource: Mana His auto attacks are not projectiles, but instead they cause a kind of small dark explosion/burst effect on the target's head by raising his hand and making a crushing gesture, like if he would wrack their mind.
Appearance/features:
I would say he mostly looks similar to this below, but instead of being fleshy, he would be more of a celestial body, like having a "cosmos inside his body" or more like his body would be a mini cosmos. I imagine his voice more deep and echo-y since he talks through the mind anyway... for his tone and speech I can imagine a rather monotone, emotionless thing, maybe like how the Silver Surfer or Algalon the observer sounds like too?

Abilities (The numbers are just representative!):
Passive: Cosmic Halo:
> When Ominos receives magic damage that exceeds 15% of his maximum health, he converts a part of the received magic damage (12% of the received damage) into additional magical resistance that decays over 2,5 seconds. Additionally the halo absorbs and steals 10% ability power from the attacker for 3 seconds. The halo refreshes every 15/14/13/12/11/10 (at level 1/3/5/7/9/11) seconds. > > Upon defeat, Ominos leaves his Cosmic Halo on the ground for allies to pick up, temporarily granting them additional 10/20/30/40 Magic resist and increases their ability power by 15% for 6 seconds. If his halo is being used by an ally at the time he is about to return to the battlefield, he can chose to reappear at his ally (this part of the passive has a 3 minute cooldown).
Note: So to update the passive part here, he has normal magic resistance (+ MR/level), but when his passive is up and takes magic damage that is more than 15% of his maximum health he gets 12% of the damage taken as magic resist that decays rapidly over 2,5 seconds. The magic resist is applied after taking the damage. For example if he takes 500 magic damage then he gets +60 magic resist that rapidly decays over 2,5 seconds. The after "death" part of the passive allows his allies to pick up (right click) the halo that is left on the ground to use it and for 6 seconds they bear it. When Ominos is about to respawn, he is able to chose (possibly by a mechanic that Kindred has too) to pick his ally who bears the halo and respawn at his location (by literally reforming out of the halo and taking it back). This however needs timing, or can be used in other situations by allies to just enhance them and disregard the "teleport back". When the halo is active, it glows, otherwise it is darker.
Q - Discipline:
> Ominos throws his Cosmic Halo at the target location damaging enemies in its path for 65/100/135/170/205 (+55% AP). If it hits and enemy Champion, it bounces off into another enemy Champion's direction within their range and it can bounce up to 5 times maximum (cannot hit the same target more than once). Any Champion facing away when the halos hits them will enhance Punishment for 3 seconds > > Enhanced Discipline: Ominos controls his Cosmic Halo, guaranteeing to hit every Champion with each bounce within its range and forces the targets who are hit by it to face toward Ominos' direction and can only walk toward or away from him in a line for 0,75/0,75/1/1/1,25 seconds.
> Mana: 50/55/60/65/70 > Range: 950, bounce off radius 450 > CD: 8 seconds
Note: Discipline is a skillshot even the enhanced part, the guaranteed hit on the enhanced part means, if there is anyone within the enemy champion that is hit by it, it will bounce off and you can't dodge it as you would or could normally do. If it doesn't hit an enemy champion it simply "pops" back to Ominos so it doesn't act like a boomerang. The facing has a cone of 70 degree, if Ominos is out of that angle, it is considered as facing away from him. (I mean if he would be my old teacher it would be 10 degree angle only). The walking only toward to or away from him means, he is the center and you can only walk on the line that is between you and him compared to him it's only back or forth, but even if you are going backward, you -face- him for that little duration. Cassio would love this guy as a team mate probably.
W - Punishment:
> Passive: Whenever Ominos hits an enemy Champion with Discipline, his next basic attack gains additional 100/120/140/160/180 range and deals extra 50/75/100/125/150 (+30% AP) magic damage. > > Active: Ominos sends out a swirling miniature star from his body at the target location, if it hits an enemy it deals 60/90/120/150/180 (+35% AP) magic damage in a small radius and slightly pulls them to the center. If any champion is hit by Punishment it will enhance Discipline for 3 seconds. > > Enhanced Punishment: Deals 70/110/150/190/230 (+40% AP) magic damage instead and Ominos appears at the first target hit by Punishment or at the end of the ability.
> Mana: 65/75/85/95/105 > Range: 900, width 100, explosion 150 > CD: 11/10,5/10/9,5/9
Note: The passive means, every time the halo hits someone by using Discipline his next attack gets enhanced by it, if he is fast enough he could use discipline, auto and if it bounces off and hits someone he can auto again like that. The active part is basically like sending an Anivia Q out but it stops at the first enemy (minion, monster or champ) and explodes dealing damage in a small radius and "sucks" enemies toward the center who are damaged by it. If you use the enhanced part of the skill, it will teleport to the first enemy that is hit by the skill or at the end of the skill if it hits nothing. I would use this carefully, who knows where you end up. The skill also supposed to have a wide hitbox.
E - Watch and Learn:
> Ominos raises his Halo in the air for a moment and attempts to fill enemy Champions' mind, that are facing him, with exceeding knowledge causing them to suffer from Migraine for 2,5 seconds, dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+14%/16%/18%/20%/22% AP) magic damage whenever they use an ability or half the damage on basic attacks. Champions who were facing away are marked with Ignorance for 2 seconds, losing 20% of their ability power and cannot critically strike for the duration.
> Mana: 40/45/50/55/60 > Range: 1050 > CD: 12
Note: The skill has a minor casting time due to animation, but just like most abilities do. Those who face him suffer from a migraine debuff, that causes them to take magic damage (not counted as a dot effect) whenever they use an ability or auto attack, in which case only the half the damage is done. Enemies have a few choices here, either to not attack or attack and take the damage while it lasts or take it slowly. Enemies who face away will be marked as "ignorant", they basically lose AP because they lose knowledge and cannot critically strike since critical strike is more of a precision, but how could they crit when they have no idea what are they doing.. of course this only lasts for a few seconds.
R - Alternative Cosmos
> **Every 16/14/12 seconds Ominos gains a miniature star that orbits around him (maximum 2 stars). If an enemy Champion appears in the area the star changes its orbiting path more toward the enemy Champion. After three rounds around Ominos the star deviates from its path shooting itself at the nearest enemy champion's location in the area, dealing 80/120/160 (+10% AP) magic damage. ** > > Active: Ominos ascends into the air while he expands his Halo on the ground around himself and becomes untargetable, immobile, cannot attack or cast spells. He creates a dome around his location with 600/700/800 (+1 range for every 3 AP) radius and fills the area with 10/15/20 (+1 for every 50 AP) miniature stars that orbits inside the area, enemy champions who collide with these causes them to explode dealing 80/130/180 (+25% AP) magic damage in a very small radius and slow them by 25% for 1,5 seconds. Enemies crossing the border suffer from Confusion, after a delay of 1,5 seconds they are stunned for 0,5 second. The dome lasts for 5 seconds or until cancelled by using the ability again. Each additional rank on Alternate Cosmos gives additional effects. > > Rank 2 - Broken Sight: Enemy champions cannot see inside the area from outside and neither can see outside from the inside. > > Rank 3 - Collided Reality: Alternative Cosmos' border absorbs and blocks every incoming or outgoing damage.
> Mana: 100/150/200 > Range: 600/700/800 +1 for every AP (900 AP means the range will be 1100 at rank 3), Passive Range 900 > CD: 170/135/100
Note: Updated passive, basically now one or maximum two miniature star appears around Ominus, that orbits around him. It keeps orbiting until an enemy champion appears in the area (900 unit range), then the star(s) make 3 rounds around him before they aim for the nearest enemy champion and try to collide with them by basically "shooting" themselves out in the enemy's direction (they are technically skillshots and can be dodged).
The active part has about a 0,6 second cast time, where Ominos ascends into the air and basically turns into a dome while his halo expands on the ground indicating the border too. There he creates a "mini universe" with floating and orbiting stars around, and whenever an enemy champion collides with one it gets destroyed and deals damage to the champion and in a small radius (it's like a rotating ziggs mine field or similar) and slows them a bit. These don't orbit too fast, they are rather slow, but each star moves with different speed. The more AP you have the more stars you make and bigger the whole field will be. The stun part is pretty clear probably, it stuns after a delay after crossing the border of the field, it can happen multiple times, but if you keep crossing the field back and forth it just refreshes the duration of the Confusion effect. The field eventually allows some extra mechanics, where at rank 2 it removes outside vision of enemy champions who are inside the dome and enemy champions who are outside can't see inside even if his allies are inside. At rank 3 Where it acts as a fortified wall, while it blocks and absorbs every every kind of attacks that are going inside or outside of it, but it comes with a price, because it affects both allies and enemies. The dome can be used for preparation, or defense or for separation or anything you could come up with, since enemies can't see anything that is inside, but allies can see outside and at this stage it blocks every kind of attacks. Damage that can go through are abilities like Malphite ultimate since he goes inside and damages at the end or Zac's jump or a Fiddlesticks ult, but like Lux ultimate will be absorbed by it even if it's not a projectile. Basically if the source of the damage is outside of the dome, the damage will not apply and vice versa. While he is immobile through the duration of the ability (which means the dome is pretty much stays in one place), he can cast his enchanted W and quickly use his ult to basically move himself so the enemy champion(s) will pretty much start out in the center of the dome.
I hope I was able to clarify things with his abilities, I'm open for constructive criticism and feedback! I would like to know if anyone likes the idea or the concept of the character! I didn't had much more time so if there is anything I might have forgot to add I'll add it later!
