Potential Shyvana Rework, (Let's be honest Shyv mains, we all know she needs one)

Ok so I would first like to say Shyv is by far my best and most played champion, and I've mained her for the last two years. Moving beyond that, I am painfully aware that her kit is fairly unhealthy, and is a niche pick. (Also she's been mentioned as a candidate for rework by riot several times, and if they are going to rework her, they should take suggestions from all us Shyv mains). Moving beyond that, let's actually get into the rework. (Some of these ideas are borrowed from other Shyv rework posts, so credit to those who also want Riot to hear their concerns for their favorite champ).

Passive: Swift with Foot and Claw Shyvana gains an additional (0.4-0.7)% attack speed for every one bonus move speed she has. In addition, every time she strikes an enemy, she gains 30 movespeed that decays over the course of 1 second. This effect cannot stack.

Q Ability: Dragon Strike Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 seconds On activation, Shyvana's next basic attack is charged with fire, dealing an additional (35/80/125/170/215) + (0.35/0.4/0.45/0.5/0.55 of total ad) as physical damage, and burning the enemy for (25/60/95/130/165) plus (0.8 bonus ad) + (0.3 ap) over the course of one second as magic damage. Shyvana's next two auto attacks also gain an additional 60% attack speed. Shyvana's auto attacks also reduce the cooldown of this move by 1 second each, by up to half of the moves cooldown. (So, maximum reduction of 4.5/4/3.5/3/2.5 seconds). On hit effects are also 1.5 times as effective on this attack.

W Ability: Fiery Chase Cooldown: 12 seconds On activation, Shyvana surrounds herself in a shroud of fire, which deals (20/32/45/57/70) + (0.2 total ad) + (0.1 ap) per second. The chase last for 3 seconds, extended by one second every hit up to 7 seconds. Additionally, when Shyvana basic attacks a unit, a surge goes through the ring of fire, dealing (5/8/11.25/14.25/17.5) + (0.05 bonus ad) + (0.025 ap), dealing damage to all enemies in the ring. This effect counts as an on hit effect, and monsters take an additional 20% damage from the damage per second as well as the damage per hit. Shyvana gains a flat 40% movespeed bonus while fiery chase is active, and the on hit movespeed from swift with foot and claw is doubled.

E Ability: Flame Breath Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Upon activation, Shyvana shoots a fireball in a line, dealing (60/100/140/180/220) + (0.6 ap) to all enemies hit, and marking them with exposed weakness. Enemies marked with exposed weakness take 2.5% of their max health as magic damage per hit from shyvana.

R Ability: Dragon's Descent Cost: 5 fury per second, requires 100 fury to activate.

Shyvana passively gains 10/15/20 armor and magic resistance. While in Dragon form, these bonuses are increased to 25/37.5/50.

Shyvana passively generates fury at a rate of 1/1.5/2 fury per second. Auto attacks also generate 2 fury, both in human and dragon form.

Upon activation, Shyvana releases her true form, transforming into a dragon whilst flying through the air. Enemies hit by her ult are knocked back and take (175/300/425) + (0.7 ap) as magic damage. Whilst in Dragon form, Shyvana's basic attack range is increased to 175 from 125. She also receives 40/50/60% movespeed that decays over the course of one second to 20/25/30% movespeed. Shyvana also gains 50% tenacity (does not stack with other forms of tenacity), and her moves gain a bonus effect.

Q Ability: Dragon Strike Dragon Strike now hits all enemies of front of shyvana in a large cone, igniting them all. In addition, if fiery chase is active, all enemies in the ring take the additional damage, and are hit by on hit effects, but are not ignited.

W Ability: Fiery Chase Fiery Chase leaves behind a trail the burns all enemies for the same amount of damage the her w does per second. The trail lasts for 3 seconds before dissipating.

E Ability: Flame Breath Flame breath engulfs all enemies in a cone in front of shyvana, dealing damage and marking them with Exposed Weakness. Enemies hit by dragon strike while marked by Exposed Weakness take 5% of their max health as magic damage.

So obviously her w is almost the same, the e is the same, and the ult only experienced small tweaks. I still think this is a good change for shyvana, and would make her more well rounded and fun, while keeping her core gameplay of a fast, damage based bruiser in tact.

Personally I think Shyv has a lot more potential when focussing more on her transformation. Make her like Gnar, so she has to manage a rage-bar, but not only in small form, but in dragon form too.

And then give both forms different abilities. Small-Shyv would be more like a fast clear-counterjungler. Quick on feet and with some respectable damage on her basic attacks.

However, dragon form should be a gigantic tank with brutal amounts of cc and/or damage. I mean, IT'S A DRAGON. Not a tiny wyrm that can be shooed away by a Thresh chain or whatever...

I still think Shyvana needs someone more when she transforms. Right now it is pretty much just a dash that buffs her abilities a little.

This feels more like an update then a rework, but a really good update that I approve of. First the passive: I like it. Feels unique and a built in phage to her kit doesn't sound bad at this point for her. Q: A somewhat reworked version of her current one but doesn't feel like two autos in one. I like it overall. W is slightly updated which is nice and the ult having the bonus armor and MR is also nice but I feel it should still be the same as the current one (just personally).

Now onto the problems I see with this: giving her 50% tenacity seems a bit much, as well as the bonus movement speed at that amount. Q with ult up is just a little confusing to me. If you have your W up when you Q them they don't ignite? If I could recommend, why not have they still be ignited by Q but then ignited enemies take increased damage from W? As well, the ult dash is still the same. If you know the knockback with her currently feels really clunky so I'd actually like to see something different with how she transforms, but still has the ability to cause initiation (also MAKE IT UNSTOPPABLE! THAT"S MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH IT AT THE MOMENT!)

I'd also recommend that when in dragon form she gains bonus health like Gnar does. It makes no sense that he transforms into something bigger and gets more health while she transforms and only gets more bonus armor and MR. Finally, I actually like the flame breath on the dragon, now dealing more % health, but I'd actually like to see maybe a different E in human form, something that gives more CC like a slow. That I feel is one of her biggest problems when compared to other junglers. She has no CC other then her clunky ult.

Thats just my two cents about this but overall I approve of it.

So just to clarify, enemies can still be ignited by Q, even with her W up but only if she hits them within the cone in front of her?
