Become Your Favorite Pro Player for a game.... game mode
So my idea came about because of all of the recaps of the older world's games where players made big plays to secure the game. I will try and make my idea as clear as possible.
A game mode where you are put into a situation that the pros were in and have to play it out to see if you and your teammates can pull out the win. Now of course the scenarios would have to be chosen carefully because you do not want to put one team at such a disadvantage and have to outplay the team in a 1 v 5 situation.
Essentially you would be put in the game at a certain time.. I am from NA so I will use an example from an LCS game that I am familiar with. Think about how TSM lost to TL. Sven walked up to a Skarner as Ezreal and that lost them the game with a single wrong move. Granted* TSM was ahead at this point so whoever was on that team would be ahead already. But have the mode drop the teams in at 34 minutes and play it out to see if 'they could do better'. Each player would have to select the role that he was going to play, so if you were on the TL side the ad would be doublelift's kaisa and the support would be braum etc. Before entering either a short video or description could give the scenario of what happened and what decided the game. Then the game would load up and you could play it out as a team and see if you can close out a game like the pros.
Clearly I know that there will never be a situation where the game plays out like it does in the pros. But this brings more attention to the big stage. It would also help the regular players feel what it's like to be in that situation, realize just how well the pro player played to get them there from either ahead or behind.
I know there are some kinks to work through but I really think that this could be something that a lot of people enjoy.. Picking the right moment on the pro stage to 'replay' would be loads of fun...
BELOW THIS TEXT IS A SEPARATE BUT SIMILAR IDEA TO WHAT WAS LISTED ABOVE....
I also think that a similar idea to this would be good for pro teams to practice.. If they were able to set up in game situations they could play out (either a real life situation or be able to 'sandbox' where they are already in a 'possible' situation), and afterwards go over what was good and bad, then replay the EXACT same scenario from a certain point and try and do it better. I have heard casters say before that nothing can really prepare you for those 50-60 minute situations because anything can happen. Well having this mode for the pro teams would give them the opportunity to set up a situation like this and practice to make it perfect.
