A thought on Kindred's ulti

I love kindred's kit for the most part, especially after the changes they made. One thing i still completely disagree with, though, is her ultimate. Thematically, it sort of make sense, but in practice, no matter how i use it, it always just falls flat. In some scenarios, yeah, it can be great, but it doesn't suit her kit at all. it can help if you are in a fire fight at long range, and if the enemy isn't expecting it, but more often than not, whats killing kindred is assassins and fighters. By the time your heal pops, they have probably ignored your damage or sustained well enough to just bop you even with the heal on it. It is an ability with good potential, but would suit other champions much better. The way kindred's kit feels is that she should be a mobile threat capable of either chasing or fleeing. I would love if her ult helped signify that, especially with her being the reaper of runeterra. What her knew ult would be? i don't really know. If not major changes were made to her ult's active I'd at least like to see a passive added to it, something to help her chase down her foes.

I think it should some way be more useful to kindred and their team rather than having the same effects on everyone. Maybe all enemies under effect of the invulnerability will have mark of the kindred applied and can be hunted down for stacks. I just jotted this out of the top of my head but i believe there should be some kind of added debuff to the enemy. I love Kindred but i am trash using their ultimate i either save them or just stall a teamfight

Drop the immortality thing entirely. From what I understand, Kindred doesn't have a role in deciding when someone's time comes. They just administer the choice the person makes, whenever that could be.

I think Kindred's ult should be more like their current W. Set down an area, Wolf dashes from enemy to enemy within that area, doing major damage (more than current W damage), similar to Fiddlestick's E with the crow, but without the silencing, and confined to enemies within the casting circle range. Damage could be proportional to how many hunts Kindred has completed. Wolf unleashed, chasing people down, is probably the most terrifying aspect of Kindred, and really should be part of their ult. Also, visually, it would be great if Wolf could transform into something massive for this, like as big as Tibbers.

Then, since Wolf's chasing is moved from W to R, the new W could incorporate a new method for assigning hunts. Instead of picking an opponent to receive the Mark of Kindred, casting W would place the mark on the nearest Enemy Champion within a certain distance, and last for, say, 8 or 10 seconds or so. Not only would that enemy be marked, but Kindred would also have Sight on them regardless of hiding in bushes, line of site/fog of war, or invisibility/stealth. So you loss the option to pick who specifically you're hunting, and you have a limited time to deliver the kill to get the Hunt point, but this ability would then double as a kind of detection (Ashe has her arrow of vision thing on E, so there's a bit of precedent for this).

I had some thoughts after initially posting this, a couple possible changes or concepts. An ult based around the pale man, kindred becomes one briefly disabling the wolf field but gaining the benefits of the qw combo and every auto applys a stack of E. An ult based around fear of death. Active fear (possibly aoe), maybe a short debuff for resistances on feared enemies. A different take on kindred's mercy. aka, an execute that gets stronger with more marks. Lamb doesnt like to cause unnecessary suffering, offering a quick clean death, rather than what it currently is... delaying the inevitable.

just some thoughts

i like her ult and i would change his passive to not give out her area and make her/he ( them ) like free gold in the bush and mostly their w to make first attack of wolf scare the target and deal bonus damage so that with well play you can make them leave the ult
