LORE Deep within the forests of Ionia resides Gorefang, the Guardian of the Forest, a monstrous Rune Bear born from the ancient Rune Wars of long ago. Rune Bears grow to sizes that rival small mountains and Gorefang is the eldest of her kind. Currently, she makes a normal bear appear like a flee to herself, boasting an incredibly monstrous height of one thousand, two hundred feet tall, without standing. When standing, she easily grows to become upwards of two thousand, nine hundred feet tall at least. Her role in nature is a simple, yet savage one. When nature itself cannot defend itself, Gorefang appears to defend nature. Seen as an enemy of mankind by humans, in reality, it is mankind which is an enemy to her. Constantly destroying the forest and killing off many of the creatures that Gorefang would consider her friend, humans require punishment for their cruel acts against nature and it's residents. Many villages have been completely destroyed by Gorefang's might, and her relentless, surprisingly quick sweep of her claws leave anything in her way near death if not dead. Among normal, mortal creatures on Runeterra, Gorefang is easily the apex predator. Gorefang respects natural selection and the need to feed on creatures, but she will kill all who dare to take more than needed to survive. Never forget.

The Rage of the Mountain When the village was attacked, we had no idea what was going on. Large, arm-like sections of the earth swept across the village houses with speed unseen by anyone who had lived in the village. We lived within a small clearing in the forest we created by cutting down the nearby trees. If only we had known what this would bring to our doorstep. We originally thought we were being attacked by a mountain giant. If only it was that dangerous. No, it was far worse. The people who lived in the houses that weren't yet completely destroyed fled quickly. Yes, I said completely destroyed. The very swipes of the creature sent huge waves of air out, devastating nearby houses. It's footsteps made the very ground collapse beneath it. I ran like there was no tomorrow. Mountian giants weren't something we could deal with, so I ran. I ran and ran, not looking back until I was very far away. The women and children around me cried like babies and the men... they were too devastated to cry. All emotion was gone from their face until we finally turned around and realized just what had destroyed our home. Anything we had been holding fell to the ground as we dropped it in shock. Mountain giants... if only it was that. Mountain giants could at least be explained and be dealt with by professionals. There wasn't anyone in the world that could deal with what we were staring it. No, it was no mountain giant. It was a bear. A gigantic, black bear with fangs that could decapitate a mountain giant. It let out a roar and half of the villagers went deaf. The elderly that survived were actually physically hurt by the roar and some collapsed into unconsciousness. The roar continued for at least half a minute and then there was dead silence. Dead silence, that is, except for the rumbling and shaking of the earth as the beast stood up on it's legs. Any emotionless men were crying now. The bear, letting out another roar, slammed down onto what was expected to be where our village was with it's front paws, causing an explosion of stone and dirt into the air around the impact. We all fell to our knees, both because we were in simple disbelief and that the ground was shaking too much to stand on. The beast ran off and left us all without homes and devastated, physically and emotionally. Nature had risen up against us and left it's paw print where our village, now nothing but saw dust, used to be.

Gorefang is a Juggernaut who's potential lies in her limitless DPS after being in combat for an extended amount of time. She is truly the apex predator of the Rift and can easily take down epic monsters and immobile targets starting from extremely early levels if allowed to do so. Her presence cannot be ignored and she demands the attention of the enemy team at ALL stages of the game, especially once she can build items to help lessen some of her innate weaknesses.

Gorefang, the Guardian of the Forest Juggernaut (pure) Health- 655 (+100 per level) Health Regen.- 9.5 (+0.95 per level) Mana- 185 (+30 per level) Mana Regen.- 5 (+0.7 per level) Armor- 30 (+3.75 per level) Magic Resist- 32.1 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 68 (+5.5 per level) Attack Speed- 0.665 (+3% per level) Attack Range- 150 (Melee)

Passive- Deepening Wounds Innate: Every third basic attack by Gorefang will apply a stack of Deepening Wounds to her target for the next 10 seconds, causing basic attacks against the unit to deal 5/10/15/20 (+5/10/15/20% AD) bonus physical damage for every stack of Deepening Wounds applied to the target. She can apply additional stacks to the target every third attack, refreshing the duration and adding another stack. Attacking another target will cause all stacks of Deepening Wounds to disappear from her previous target. The bonus damage from Deepening Wounds can stack infinitely and can critical strike for 1/4/7/10 (+2/3/4/5% AD) bonus physical damage per stack. Levels: 1/6/11/16

Ability 1- Rage of the Forest Active: Gorefang makes a large sweep in a half circle in front of her, dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+50% bonus AD) physical damage to enemy units hit and knocking them up briefly for 0.33 seconds. Enemy minions and monsters take an additional 100% damage from this ability and are knocked into the air for 1.25 seconds. Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 mana Cool Down: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds Range: 375

Ability 2- Natural Disaster Active: Gorefang bites into the target enemy unit, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+100% AD) physical damage and applying on-hit effects. The bonus damage from Deepening Wounds is increased by 10/20/30/40/50% for this bite. If Gorefang bites down into a large monster, she will grip down with her fangs into their flesh, dealing the same damage repeatedly every 1 second (scaling down to 0.33 seconds at maximum attack speed) for the next 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds. A tick of damage is also applied when Gorefang releases her victim from her grip. Damage from this ability benefits from life steal and can critically strike. Cost: 60/80/100/120/140 mana Cool Down: 60/54/48/42/36 seconds Range: 250

Ability 3- Bleed Out Passive: Bleed Out can only be used on targets with at least 5/5/4/4/3 stacks of Deepening Wounds on them. Active: Gorefang plunges her claws into the target enemy unit, dealing 75/100/125/150/175 (+50% AD) true damage to them plus an additional 4/5.5/7/8.5/10% (+1% per 100 AD) of their missing health as bonus physical damage over the next 5 seconds. The bonus physical damage will ignore an additional 10% of the target's bonus armor for every stack of Deepening Wounds currently applied to them. The attack will ignore both base and bonus armor if the target is an enemy minion or monster. Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana Cool Down: 30/27.5/25/22.5/20 seconds Range: 250

Ultimate- Natural Selection Passive: The bonus damage from Deepening Wounds now ignores 33/66/100% of the target's armor if they are a minion or monster. Active: After channeling for 2 seconds by standing on her hind legs and roaring, Gorefang's next 3/4/5 basic attacks within the next 12 seconds will strike three times in the time it would take for her to normally attack once, each strike dealing a third of the normal damage, but each applying on-hit effects. Gorefang also gains 20/30/40% increased attack speed while she still has remaining enhanced attacks. Cost: 100/125/150 mana Cool Down: 155/135/115 seconds

Gorefang Summary Gorefang is an extremely scary champion when read on paper, but then becomes more and more reasonable once you begin to think about it in-game. With the upcoming rework to permaslow items, like Rylai's and Frozen Mallet, Gorefang will have very limited access to crowd control to allow her to catch up to targets, meaning that she almost entirely relies on her team to catch her targets for her. Then, once there, she has to land an incredibly large number of basic attacks in order to start pumping out her god-like DPS due to Deepening Wounds. That can be very hard to achieve without tons of attack speed at her side and Attack Speed is a hard stat to get along with Tank stats due to the way itemization has played out. Sure, she gets some AS from her ultimate, but 40% attack speed is not a lot at Level 16. To the point, Gorefang is scary on paper, but, against champions, is actually fairly reasonable due to her lack of crowd control. Against monsters, however, Gorefang is an absolute beast. Since monsters don't run, she can go to work on them. Dragon and even Rift Herald can easily be killed solo by Level 6. At Level 9, when she is able to max Natural Disaster, even Baron Nashor would fear her bite, especially if she has been able to build up enough attack speed, allowing her to stack up Deepening Wounds on Baron with her R, get a couple of basic attacks, apply E, and then bite down with Natural Disaster to absolutely shred Baron Nashor's health. With life steal, Natural Disaster allows her to easily heal herself back up in a fight. Due to all of this, it is crucial that the enemy team keep tight vision control of epic monsters so that Gorefang can't just give her team Baron Buff without any trouble. She can handle Baron alone, but having an enemy champion there will definitely complicate the matters. Finally, late game... Gorefang's domain. As a Juggernaut, she will benefit from everything allies can give her to close the gap and boost her DPS. Baron and even Elder Dragon are essentially snacks for her and she has no trouble nuking a squishy if allowed to. Note, IF ALLOWED TO! She is essentially a Master Yi with more DPS, but no built in mobility. All forms of crowd control except maybe Silence will completely shut her down if she does not get support from her team. In short, Gorefang would be the most broken thing ever if every game was a duel and the enemy never ran away from her. However, this is League of Legends and she can be pretty easily put in check with some CC thrown her way, much more than almost any other champion in the entire game.

Thanks for reading guys! Feedback is appreciated and I hope you enjoyed (or got chills, whichever) reading Gorefang's concept!
