Kolrath, Reaper of Essence
I hope everyone likes this concept. I wanted to create a concept for a tank that is fun to play with nice compliments in its kit. It took me a while to tweak him into gear, but I think the concept is finally finished. I don't have any lore but Kolrath is essentially an extra-celestial being that consumes matter to prolong his existence. He scales off Armor and Attack Damage, and has some unique mechanics in his hit. Please let me know what you think! :)
I used this link from Deviant Art because Kolrath closely resembles the armor from Marauder Skins.
Passive- Becoming Existence:
- Kolrath gains no bonuses from Health gain or Health Regeneration effects; instead, Kolrath has a single Source Bar, "Material", which increases with his Armor.
- Kolrath loses Material over time, shedding metallic dust which creates a dark cloud of metal around him.
- Every second Kolrath deals damage equal to 5% of all lost Material within that second to enemies in the AOE of the cloud. (Applies only to Material lost since the last damage trigger from the cloud. Spending Material for abilities constitutes as Material lost for the purposes of this ability)
- Basic Attacks and Abilities apply 35% Lifesteal and Spell Vampirism (does not apply to damage from Becoming Existence).
Q- Reap:
Costs: 50 Material Kolrath's arm materializes into a large scythe blade and strikes all enemies in a cone, Dealing physical damage.
- (15/25/35/45/55) Damage +5% of Kolrath's Attack Damage.
W- Static/Kinetic:
Costs: 5 Material per Second Kolrath phases his body from dense metal to a storm of metallic blades.
Static: Kolrath gains (2/4/6/8/10)% damage reduction from basic attacks. Kinetic: Costs Material; Kolrath gains (5/10/15/20/25)% Magic Resistance and Tenacity.
E- Swarm of Saws:
Costs: 75 Material Kolrath dematerializes and rushes to target location in a flurry of shurikens, damaging all enemies in his path.
- (30/45/60/75/90) Physical Damage + 5% of Kolrath's Attack Damage as bonus Magic Damage.
R- Casket/Cuirass:
Costs: 100 Material Kolrath rushes to target Allied or Enemy Champion within range, entrapping target enemy in a steel casket or encasing ally in sturdy armor.
Casket: Kolrath rushes to target Enemy Champion, suppressing them for 2.5 seconds and dealing damage each second.
- (45/60/75) True Damage +5% of Kolrath's Armor as bonus Physical Damage and +5% of Kolrath's Attack Damage as bonus Magic Damage.
- Activating "Swarm of Saws" causes "Swarm of Saws" to deal additional damage equal to 50% of Kolrath's Attack Damage instead of 5% to suppressed enemy and cancels "Casket".
- "Reap" is inaccessible during "Casket"
Cuirass: Kolrath rushes to target Ally Champion, absorbing a portion of the damage taken by the ally for a few seconds and granting them the bonuses from "Static/Kinetic".
- (25/50/75)% of damage is redirected to Kolrath.
- "Reap" can be activated during "Cuirass" without cancelling the ability.
- "Swarm of Saws" cancels the ability.
Breakdown Kolrath constitutes as a Fighter, and must stay active to stay alive. Activating "Kinetic" makes Kolrath more vulnerable to damage, however the Material Cost per second really helps the damage output from his Passive. Using "Reap" while "Cuirass" is active makes foes think twice before getting too close to vulnerable allies. Targeting Assassins, Marksmen, or Mages with "Casket" yields the best results- effectively removing a key damage dealer from the fray- peel out with "Swarm of Saws" for a lethal escape.
