Looking up Clans

I feel it would be a great addition if there was a section in the client where you could look up Clans, and if Clans are satisfied with their members, they could have a setting to set it to closed, where nobody could request to join, invite only, where they accept invites, and anyone can join, where the clan is open and you don't have to be invited to join. Similar to a Clash of Clans concept. Currently, as an Akali main, I feel it very frustrating on how inconvenient it is to join up with others with the same passion for my main :)
