Not quite Aghanim's Scepter but possibly a start
Hey guys, I came up with a rough concept of a new item, which would empower champions in some meaningful way but would usually only be built in those long drawn out games
The occupation of a slot of this item would be as a very expensive boot enchantment, such as your boots+3k gold, broken up in two +1500g attachments, the first would be champion specific and the second would be champion class specific, with some options. For example an active dash on champions with the fighter tag, or a tenactiy reducing effect on champions with the tank tag, the updated class titles could definitely be used so that velkoz and xerath could be tagged with 'artillery' as opposed to just 'mage'
The item would have minor amounts of adaptive force on each upgrade, and minor amounts of %resist increase
Here are some examples of how these would change champions directly, through either reverting an old nerf via an item effect or just empowering something specific about the champion.
Your passive now remains for longer and slowly drains as opposed to immediately drops off when leaving combat, the time it takes to drain is based on your level
You can place soldiers further, they remain longer, gain 10 units of range and .5 second of duration per 2 levels
gain 1 or 2 ap per meep,
Increase the range of your dash by 5% per 4 levels
Place 1 additional turret per 6 levels
Drop a ward (Active) cooldown equal to 40 seconds - 2 seconds per level
You are considered both ranged and melee for purposes of item effects, whichever is better (scales by nature)
gain and amount =(5% of your armor bonus from your dash) as bonus MR
Getting a kill or assist grants energy and reduces the cooldown of your ult by a value equal to twice your level
Deal additional damage to water clones made by your E equal to twice your level, reduce cooldown of your passive spawns by a % = 1.5x your level
Gain Additional health equal to 1% of your mana per level.
Additional ghoul per 4 levels, reduce 1 passive required mark for summoning a ghoul per 4 levels
Class changes for second upgrade: Tanks: impairing the movement of something increases your tenacity by .5% per level Supports: heals and shields also affect you for 1% per level effectiveness, wards last an additional 1 second per level, and one additional ward can be placed per 6 levels Marksmen: increase damage dealt based on the last time you were attacked by 1% per level Fighters: gain %movement speed for each second in combat, maxing at your champion level. gain spell vamp and lifesteal = 1 per 2 levels
These are clearly not well thought out, but this is a list of general ideas from which riot would be able to extrapolate a better devised item.
