Yorick Mori [Minion-Based Juggernaut Concept]

Hey CONCEPTS & CREATIONS! I've been thinking about Juggernauts recently as part of a personal project involving reworks of Mordekaiser, Skarner, and Urgot, and I've come to the conclusion that Yorick would fall really nicely into this category.

As a result, I'd love some input for an ability that I've been tossing around as the core of a Juggernaut-themed Yorick. The idea is to turn him into a minion-based Juggernaut who creates his own "Juggernaut Zone" (the term I've been using for the zone in which a Juggernaut unlocks their full power -- next to Garen/Daris, within Illaoi's tentacle range, within Skarner's pillars, etc).

Anyway, here we go!

#Upturned Earth Yorick's dark magic tears into the earth itself, raising a ghoul at the target location and creating a zone of upturned earth in a moderate area for several seconds. Enemies passing through upturned earth are slightly slowed.

Ghouls attack nearby enemies, prioritizing Yorick's target. Ghouls have 2/2/3/3/4 hit points, and take damage from Champion and Tower auto-attacks (Towers deal 2 damage per hit). Ghouls gain bonus movement speed when on upturned earth, which decays rapidly once they leave the area. Ghouls not on upturned earth lose 1 hit point per second until destroyed.

Ghouls attack at a rate of once per second, dealing __ physical damage (+__% of Yorick's bonus hit points) per attack. Additional ghouls attacking the same target deal __% reduced damage.

Yorick stores a charge of Upturned Earth every X seconds, to a maximum of Z charges.

Cooldown: 0.5 seconds between charge uses.

Level Up: Increased ranks in this ability increase the radius of upturned earth, as well as reducing the time to generate a charge. Ghoul damage scales on Yorick's champion level.

The goal here is to give Yorick a way to set up zones of powerful damage, while increasing counterplay against him by letting targets avoid the damage zones or easily kill ghouls at lower levels. A late-game Yorick with several stored ghoul charges can sow chaos in a teamfight or against a crowd-controlled target, and has very powerful objective control.

Thoughts on this? Is it a potentially interesting idea? What other abilities would you see synergizing well with a kit focus like this?
