Volibear as a Polar Bear

I have only a few things to say about the visuals of new Volibear, particularly just on the realization of a Polar Bear from the new artwork being done.

I often draw Bears, especially Polar Bears in realistic, semi-realistic, and cartoony styles. I also used to work alongside Polar Bears in the Zoo for a few years as well (Conrad the Polar Bear from the Oregon Zoo before he passed). I will say that with all of the previous iterations (including this last one, making 7), I've noticed a trend that is upsetting. The muzzle-length of each showing is lacking with regards to Polar Bears. Most often I see this mistake in the gaming industry where the Polar Bear's muzzle is too short and/or not dipped down.

Polar Bears have a muzzle shape where (while looking forward) the angle of the muzzle is slightly downward, with the nose forward and chin slightly back. I would suggest at least taking in a bit of views for Polar Bears in reference for the downward dip; while looking forward their snout tends to angle down ever so slightly. In accordance to this, the muzzle should definitely be larger (often equaling the length from brow-to-ear).

Regardless of whether there's weapons on the back, less/more armour, lightning, demigod status, etc.-- I would really like to see Riot Games perform where most other games seem to be lacking in giving a Polar Bear respectable ratios on the face to make it more akin to a Polar Bear. Very frequently I see gaming companies make this mistake and its disheartening to animal fans like myself.

I understand there needs to be a change to make him more ferocious, and I wholly agree-- however, I don't think it should come at the expense of reducing from the look of a species that was chosen for Volibear. There's ways of achieving both without removing the inherent species qualities he was given.

The current Volibear, in-game and artwork, does give justice to the ratios and artistic design of a Polar Bear well. I commended it. I understand the need for more ferocity, aggressiveness, and a look more akin to a war-beaten creature, and that can be done while keeping the structures of a Polar Bear. Bears can be frightening! I strongly suggest taking a look at side/profile shots of Polar Bears, along with the skeletal structure and put some emphasis into the demigod and semi-realistic nature that I feel the artist is trying to bring to realization.

Really looking forward to the updates for both visual, audio, and gameplay! I'm really happy that Volibear is finally getting attention and really hope to be able to play him soon.

P.S. Why the massive braid?
