What about "INNATE RUNES" that enable the champions to be in different roles?

A lot of League players feel a sense of restriction when playing roles. I like playing as Garen but the guides say he is a Top Laner. What if I wanna play him in the mid lane, jungle or even the bottom lane or as a support.

I have come up with the idea of Innate Runes. An innate rune can represent abilities that be custom innate for any character. Now look at Annie Innate ability called Pyromania, which after casting four abilities, next damaging ability Stun icon stuns enemies it damages for 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 seconds. This is said to grant her the role of being an nontraditional support champion. What if we turned Annies innate ability into a rune? Lets say I have rune page designed for Garen, now there is single (or maybe more) new slot that enables the innate rune. I get this new rune that grants Garen the innate abilities of Annie. Now I can use Garen in the support lane for the ADC!

What do you guys think? Do you think that innate runes could grant more flexible use of the champions in any role such as top, ADC, Support, mid or jungle? Do you think it will ruin the game entirely? What is your response?

I don't honestly see the point of this. If you're just going to swap out champion passives and kit abilities then what's the point of picking a particular champion? The model? If you mean swap out stats then technically you can do that already by using Runes to increase stats that would be beneficial to the role you intend to play rather than complement or increase stats the champion already excels in.

And for what it's worth, the meta isn't necessarily set in stone, sometimes a champ intended for one lane or role has stats or abilities that when coupled with the right items or runes make them usable if not good in another role. Blitzcrank for example was initially designed as a top-lane tank/fighter, yet everyone knows him best as a Support these days.

Barring that, though, if you insist on playing a champ in an off-meta role just because you like the champ itself and not necessarily the lane they're meant for, you can always play a game against bots, where roles are made up and lanes don't matter.
