Why?

To whom it may concern, I've been playing League of Legends for about six months by now. My first month was amazing, i was introduced to new champions and checking out their abilities, however it went down hill from there. I'm a support player, i play Lulu most of the time because that's one of the champions that I genuinely like. I'm not going to sit here and lie that i'm good at any other position because I'm not. I also like playing Ziggs mid, he's fun and i like the art style behind him. Now let's get to the bottom of this. Why am I even writing this? Well, I had enough. Most of the time i play solo ranked and don't have anyone to bot lane with. I believe as a support player, communication between you're partner is essential. There needs to be some sort of voice communication from one to another. It is essential. Second of all, there are way too many champions. I think you should at least have the maximum of one-hundred. If everyone bans a different champion in ranked then you're left with eighty champions to pick from. Some of the champions that need to go are: Zoe, Veigar and Fizz. I'm fine with letting Veigar say but the rest definitely need to go. As much as i would like for some of these changes to happen, let's be real, it will never happen. The community hates change. If there favorite champion is removed, people will be outraged, maybe leaving the game together. The developers and community are in two different sides of the hemisphere. I'm sure I'n not the only one who thinks like this, there are countless others. Riot's plan is to release new champions hoping that it would overshadow other champions. This is not a solution. Another thing, when your opponent gets fed, there should be something to help you out instead of hugging turret the whole match. I've had matches where I feed the enemy team, it happens. They're six kills ahead of me and I can't do anything but just pray that my jungler would listen and gank me. Maybe if your opponent has one thousand more CS than you, you should get more money from minions until your CS is matched with you're opponent. You guys have the same amount of CS yet you're still at a disadvantage because he's a higher level than you. Play your cards right and you might outplay him with that extra CS you received. This would be much better rather than hugging turret and hoping your jungler would listen. There are many ways you can implement this new system but there are other ways. Riot games, be creative, you have over two-thousand employees. As much as I would like these changes to happen, they never will. I've lost hope in League of Legends and Riot Games. This game will never be enjoyable like how it first was, there will always be fed players, either in your team or in the enemy team. You will always play against broken champions. You will always have bad teammates, sometimes I'm part of that section. Who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong. Maybe banning some champions isn't the right thing. Am I right or am I asking for too much?

Few things here:

  • Riot actually already has measures implemented to help players who are behind gain exp faster than their opponents. This is imo more than enough, and it's turned many games around. Actually, that bonus is a large part of why the damage/assassin meta has come back. In addition to them buffing assassins this year, players are pushed to finish the games earlier, snowball harder, and not let those bonuses allow the enemy to use this feature to catch up and mount a comeback. If Riot were to just give free gold to players who fell behind, there'd be no real point to laning phase.

  • There are definitely champions on my shit list as well...glares at Kai'Sa...but even I wouldn't go as far as to say they need removed from the game. However, being a guy who made like 10 champion concepts this month, even I would agree they could definitely focus more on reworking champions than making new ones...which is exactly why Riot has said they're going to do just that. There was a point when Riot was making a new champion Every Two Weeks...compared to back then, Riot's almost been on hiatus, only really giving us a new champion to play about every 3-4 months, and half the time, their "new champion" is just a total scrapping/overhaul of an older champion's kit. There are a number of those champs on the list: Fiddlesticks , Pantheon , and JarvanIV are near the top of it.

  • Since you've said you're newer to the game, I want to also take this time to make a shoutout to Jeremy from gaming curios. This video I'm linking goes over one of the most basic concepts of how to read enemies throughout the game, and it will also help you to determine your own area of strength and weakness. For example, I for one am a very passive-aggressive player, so I will fall for a lot of baits. xD

  • There are a ton of ways to get better at handling playing from behind, even as support, but by far the most important step to playing from behind is to focus on your range from the enemy. Particularly for ranged supports such as Lulu, the goal if you're behind (and honestly, the goal throughout the game, but it becomes 100x more important while behind) is to only step up to poke the enemy when they're preoccupied. If a minion is low, and you know theyre about to step up to hit it, step up and try to hit them with your E right as they pause to hit the minion. The moment you hit your E, step back, then Q them before Pix comes back to you. Keep out of their range unless they're already doing something else, and they'll take a lot of damage from doing what they're supposed to do because you're passively outplaying them. It's not about just sitting under tower. It's about finding the correct moment to take a stab at them.
