New Client Feature - Friend linker

An idea I would like to present to benefit Riot in earnest is the idea to add a friend linker into the current friend/contacts list. Imagine designing a feature that would find people in your area who you know and recommend them to you. Making it easier to find people you know who play league, or find people who you know that you DIDN'T know play league. An expanding friend base anchors people to a more positive community in league. It also links people more deeply to the culture of league. This feature if well implemented will expand player bases and grow league further than its already massive base. Possibly by exponential rates. Perhaps Riot would be able to partner with Facebook to utilize their already built powerful acquaintance finder.
