Improving Shaco (mainly AP Shaco), even by just a little

As of now, AP Shaco takes arguably the most brain power to succeed and win lane. But even someone who has played thousands of hours on AP Shaco, like Pink Ward, still has an extremely difficult time even making it to midgame without being 0/10. One way to improve AP Shaco a little bit is to add a Teemo-like poison damage over time. The master assassin Shaco certainly has collected thousands of poisons and chemicals over his travels.. But instead of using a good poison he instead laces his Two-Shiv Poison with a useless poison that only minorly slows the enemy? I think his E should have an AP scaling damage over time poison, or he could choose a Shiv to throw like twisted fate's cards, whether he wants to use a slowing poison or a damage over time poison. This will help AP Shaco while not making it too broken.

With the latest buffs he's got with boxes and pink wards/sweeper not triggering them, I think he is much stronger in lane- but still relies on getting low on HP and baiting enemies into a deadly trap. I've had some good success going support and using boxes defensively to turn fights when enemy jungler comes in to gank and they try to collapse on us- us and a ton of boxes. :) Then late game its just placing them in cut off areas like teemo shrooms, putting them all around dragon / baron before it spawns to deter them, and using them as peel for the adc to fall back on should a bad guy try to jump on them.

I remember his E doing a lot of damage several seasons ago, along with Deathfire Grasp of course- that thing made just about Every AP ratio champion viable. AP Rengar was a Lot of fun ;P ROAR! ROOOAARR! If you build Liandry's, which is a staple for damage on AP Shaco I think, you get a lot more damage out of your E poke.
Top lane is Tough, and you do rely on your jungler to help win lane, even then- your opposing laner will probably out farm you. You don't get good wave clear unless you get protobelt early.

I do like your idea though, pick-your-poison style. Pick either the slow, or more damage over time.
