In many a Pirate's life, they had learned many things in the sea: how to rob cargo ships, how to avoid scurvy, and when and where to attack their prey or foes. However, one mere rule hunts the very souls of the pirate when he seeks cargo - "Beware of the White Pearl, for when it's under Cargo, woe to those who dare steal."
One fateful night, during a caravan travel from Ionia to Bilgewater, an cargo ship was faced with dealing with 3 pirate ships. Ropes bonded the defenseless boat, and the pirates were going to steal yet another treasure, when beams of light blasts the ropes apart. Thinking that there was something up, one of the pirates tried again to tether the ship, only for the Crow's Nest to be blown to bits by the very same beams of light. Now in a panic, the 3 ships try to take down the cargo, only to have been blasted by the lights. The remaining Pirate Captain looked down, and found a "pearl, as white as the moon itself". Now with a goal, The pirate ship that was left standing tried to fire at the "pearl", but to no avail. Suddenly, an massive blast of light fired from the "pearl" destroyed the ship and everyone on it in one shot. Seeing that the path was safe, the cargo ship headed to it's destination, the "pearl" remaining motionless. Since that very day, Pirates all over Bilgewater fear the "White Pearl", as so much that they made a melody, one that warned the pirates...that the "White Pearl" is always watching...
