BIO

Originally from Noxus, Axel travelled around Runeterra with multiple bands of ruffians to make a living as an orphan. Thieves had a lot of uses for a young boy when it came to pulling off heists. They soon began training the boy in the arts of pocket picking and throat cutting. He took a particular interest to throwing knives, which became his go-to weapon of choice. At sixteen years old, he decided he'd had enough of working without reward and he set off on his own. With his acquired skills, he soon became one of the top criminals in Runeterra.

However, it all turned sour one day when he was caught by Caitlyn and Vi. He served two years of his sentence before he came up with the idea of convincing the girls to train him in their ways so he could become a bounty hunter. They agreed to the plan, seeing that with money as a motivation he could use his skills for good. In his newfound career, he found himself bored when he realized that none of the thieves and assassins he capture were much of a challenge. That's when he realize that the League of Legends would be perfect for him. There's plenty of ruffians and evildoers to thwart there, on top of all the gold he can obtain.

APPEARANCE AND INFORMATION RELEVANT TO IT

Axel is a young adult with tan skin. He wears dark clothing with a gray tailcoat. He is short in height, so people sometimes mistake him for a teenager. He has a scar along his chin from when Caitlyn and Vi captured him (a bullet grazed him). In general, his style gives off a mized vibe of Noxus and Piltover.

STATS AND MECHANICS

Axel is primarily a marksman with potential as a bruiser. His mobility and crowd control is great for initiating fights as well a poking. However, his low damage gives him less of a sustained fight capability. To a certain extent, he could be played in th jungle thanks to his passive, or even as a support because of his poke and crowd control.

ABILITIES

Passive [Point Blank]: Axel's knives have more impact in close range, thus his basic attacks gain a bonus of physical damage when their range is shorter.

Q [Where Are You Going?]: Axel throws out a teethed chain knife in a line, catching the first enemy champion or minion in its path, dealing basic attack damage. At that moment, the chain's maximum length is determined (200 above the length it took to catch the enemy champion). If the enemy champion walks further than that distance, the knife will be torn out and deal extra physical damage, as well as leave the enemy champion bleeding for true damage. Axel can choose to activate "Over Here! Over There!" instead to pull the enemy champion to him a certain distance, removing the possibility of the rip effect.

W [Your Purse Is My Purse]: Axel's next basic attack counts as a skillshot, and if it hits an enemy champion on its path, it stops and deals minor bleeding damage to that champion, as well as awarding Axel a fixed (or scaling, i don't know what's more balanced) amount of gold.

E [Over Here! Over There!]: Axel dashes forward, slowing (or maybe knocking sideways?) any enemies he passes through. If the dash ends on environment, Axel will latch onto it until the ability is reactivated for a second dash, during which all nearby enemies are hit by thrown knives, dealing physical damage. If an enemy champion had been caught by "Where Are You Going?" at the time of either activation, they will be pulled halfway towards Axel's position when "Over Here! Over There!" was activated.

R [I Got You This Gift!]: Axel takes the giant knife from his back and spins around once for momentum, dealing physical damage to enemies the blade goes through. Once a full turn has been done, he throws the knife in a straight line, dealing physical damage and passing through enemy minions, stopping at the first enemy champion it hits for bonus bleeding damage as well as a knockback.

FINAL WORD

I hope most of you will like this! None of this is set in stone, but I'm hoping Riot will take notice and maybe line out to do it. Some of Axel's abilities might seem overly powerful (or not, I'm no genius), which is why I wrote in the mechanics and his damage is low. If you like the concept, please upvote this! <3
