Growing up, Billy the minion was very shy and had a heavy stutter. He never had been able to make any friends. His father, a Super-Minion, despised his son. He believed his son to be weak, and told him he would be lucky to ever even become a melee minion. He spent most of his days at home with his abusive mother, who had developed an addiction to alcohol after her first husband was killed by Darius. Every moment he was able he poured his attention into reading legends of Runeterra’s heroes, and imagining he was anywhere but here. One day, a group of melee minions at his school caught him reading about the history of the Gromp. See, minions hate jungle creatures, and never set foot in the jungle for any reason unless forced to by a champion. They beat him until he was barely conscious, and left him alone. He had given up, and was about to end his own life when a friendly ranged minion came up to him, and offered her hand. She helped him get home, and cleaned him up. They became best friends that day, and spent every spare moment together. Eventually, they fell in love and got married soon after graduation. They even had a few little minions of their own. Knowing that she always was there behind him, he began to excel in his studies. He slowly worked his way up the ranks, and much to both their joy he finally earned the rank of Cannon minion. His joy was indescribable, but it would not last forever. On their first battle, he waited patiently to spawn. He was nervous, as his wife was queued up to spawn before him. But she was strong, and she assured him she would make it out there until he could join her. Alas, she was incorrect. He could do nothing but scream in sorrow and rage as he watched Caitlyn shoot his wife in the skull. Staring at his wife's lifeless body, he knew there was only one thing left for him to do. In a blind furry, he charged down the lane. He would be with his wife once again.
