There is absolutely no reason that Fiora should not get a Traditional Skin
I realize that Riot said "no more Traditional skins" but this policy is just asinine. It should be handled on a case-by-case basis.
For example, I could understand why Sivir shouldn't have received a "Traditional Skin". I can understand why Sion did not get a "Traditional Skin".
But this new Fiora default skin is not just a better looking version of current default Fiora, a la Sivir/Trist/Miss Fortune/etc (it's in a completely different spirit/direction), nor does the current default skin look excessively outdated/out-of-place, a la Sion/Taric (if we had had the "new Fiora default skin" as a release skin and they decided to release "current Fiora default skin" as a purchasable Fiora skin tomorrow, no one would bat an eye).
Personally, I really love her current default skin. It has a bit of armor, but also looks form fitting/easy to move in. The new default skin actually looks more bulky, harder to move in, and overall just less combat viable (seriously... that giant ass shoulder pad... ugh).
Though I've never heard ANYONE complain about her current default skin until it was time to start defending Riot's position on this rework, I can understand why some people do not like the heart-shaped breastplate (to which I say "any armor is better than none") or don't think armor would suit a fencer (have you ever seen a fencer go into ACTUAL life-or-death combat wearing the white body-suit used in the sport? Me neither), but then if these were the reasonings behind completely changing default Fiora, why isn't Nightraven being thrown in a completely different direction either?
In any case, I simply think that the option SHOULD be there for those attached to the current default skin for Fiora because options are good.
