##Roj, The Peacebringer##

##Character

Lore:

There was once where the Peacebringers were hardly needed. In Ionia’s ancient days, the secretive order traveled the land, espousing their gospel of peace and nonviolence. In time, their message spread throughout, and war nearly ceased throughout Ionia. Many in Ionia still believe in the Peacebringer’s gospel. But the Noxus War has awakened a new war in Ionia’s heart, and the Peacebringers are needed now more than ever. So Roj traveled outside his monastery walls, and began his journey to reteach Ionia peace.

Appearance:

##General Gameplay and Design

A member of a legendary monastic order dedicated to peace and nonviolence, Roj is a support/niche solo laner who doesn't set up kills, but rather inhibits his enemies from killing, with his array of peel and damage reduction abilities. Roj excels at peeling, making him really good with passive ADCs and with an aggressive enemy bot lane. Later in the game, however, his game-changing ult and passive can destroy a team's damage output, if used on the right people. Where Roj falls apart, however, is engaging. His W can only engage if aimed well enough, and all of his cc is knockback.

PROS

  • Excellent peel

  • Damage reduction counters all-ins

  • Game-changing ultimate

CONS

  • Little-to-no damage output

  • CC can backfire (ala Alistar)

  • Ult can screw over your team

##Abilities

##Passive: Calming Aura If an enemy champion attacks Roj 3 times (works like any other 3-hit passive), their overall damage is reduced by 25% and they’re slowed by the same amount for 3 seconds. Cannot happen on the same champion more than once every 15 seconds.

##Q: Retaliation Roj marks an ally or himself. For 1.5 seconds, if an enemy attacks the marked person, they’re knocked back a short distance. Can proc multiple times.

Roj’s peaceful philosophy does not forbid nonlethal retaliaton.

##W: Seperation Roj marks a circle on the ground. After .5 seconds, the circle erupts, knocking back all units from the center to the end of the circle (circle is the size of Veigar’s E)

Roj must often stop fights by separating the fighters.

##E: Resilience Passive: Roj gains 20% bonus armor when 2 or more enemies attack him. Passive is lost when E is on cooldown.

Active: Roj taunts all enemies in an area, gaining a (50/75/100/125/150 ( + 3% of Max Health) shield for every enemy that attacks him during the taunt.

##R: Pacification Roj channels for 2 seconds, with a large circle appearing around him. He can move during this channel with 45% reduced movement speed. After the channel ends, he Pacifies all units in the area and slows them for (20/35/50)% for 2 seconds. Pacified units cannot deal damage, but can cast abilties. CC still affects Pacified targets.

A last ditch effort taught to all monks in Roj’s order, this technique blocks all thoughts of war and strife from the mind of the beligerants.
