Game Feature - Passive Pauses
So, the pause idea that I have in mind is based not on player activation exactly...but on automatic actions that occur throughout a match. Or we can just call it a passive pause.
Players may choose in theory when to activate these actions, so it is not entirely out of control.
Examples are first tower destroyed causes a pause for 2 minutes. Likewise for the Dragon, Baron, and Herald. Maybe the first Elder Dragon too.
I do not really know what people would think of this idea but here it is. It is not too complicated. Some of the reasons I came to this idea are mentioned in Player Behavior, and I brought up this idea there too. But I just wanted to make a post on this board too because I figure I will probably get more feedback on the idea here.
Feel free to suggest alternate waiting times or chime in on your opinion if Riot were to change the waiting times every other patch. My initial suggestion is 120 seconds of pause that could occur 1 to a few times in a match automatically/passively when the above criteria are met.
