What if, in banning phase we had the option to ban an Item or a Champion??

Do you think people would do this? I mean banning Zhonyas or Support items would be more efficient in some cases over banning a specific champion. Thoughts?

Mmmm thats a definitely a no from me. Removing items really cripple a lot of champs. Take tri force, you'd gimp jax, irelia, ekko, xin, kog, corki, and a few others. Keep it to champ bans

Uh, no. Taking item 3165 away will make so many mages useless, and if someone bans item 3157 nobody can really do anything vs Talon Zed

Let me add i think it would only work if it were to work if you had to ban a fully built item leaving the recipe items still open... You couldnt just ban long swords or what not but you could ban vision wards. what do you think?

That'd be viable if League had a bigger item pool to replace core items for certain champions (Morello's and Zhonya's are very necessary on some people), but at a slightly lesser effect.
