Jacob - The Shadow Knight


Short Description: The Shadow Knight is a melee AP Tank/Mage that uses his CC to stick to an enemy champion. However he has a lack of mobility which allows champions that out range his abilities or super mobile champions to kite him. (Should still be difficult to get away from him if he does get in range) He should be built durable with a bit of damage (Rylais/Rod of Ages provide both for him) (He will be simply referenced as The Shadow Knight in his abilities because his name is not final aka i am looking for a better name) Role: Tank/Mage

Stats: Health: 430(+90) Health Regen: 6(+1) Mana: 250(+50) Mana Regen: 8(+0.6) Range: 150 (Melee) Attack Damage: 45(+4) Attack Speed: 0.64(+2.3%) Armor: 22(+3.5) Magic Resist: 30(+1.25) Move Speed: 340


Abilities: Passive: Corruption Every third attack on the same target applies Corruption dealing 10/30/60/90 (+15% AP) magic damage per second and slowing the target by 10% for three seconds. Stacks up to Three Times. Three Stack Damage 30/90/180/270 (+45% AP) Slow at Max will be 30%.

(The passive corruption helps the Shadow Knight stick to targets and helps him out in prolonged fights/trades with the stacking debuff on the enemy requires 9 auto attacks on the same enemy for full stacks so he can't be jax and auto attack minions twice then hit the enemy champion b/c of his ults passive)

Q: Shadow Strike 8/7/6/5/4 second cooldown. 70 mana at all ranks. Range: 550 The Shadow Knight sends out a wave of shadow energy in a cone dealing 50/100/150/200/250(+50% AP) magic damage and will slow enemies facing away by 30% for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds.

(Think of the cone like rivens wind slash but without the execute and on a basic ability, this is the Shadow Knights main damaging ability with a low cooldown but with a decent mana cost to prevent constant spamming early)

W: Gripping Shadows 22/21/20/19/18 second cooldown. 120 mana at all ranks. Radius: 450 The Shadow Knight casts out an aura of shadows around him dealing 20/32/44/56/68(+20% AP) magic damage per second for 5 seconds and applying a stacking debuff each second. At three stacks enemies will be snared for 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 seconds. Each enemy champion snared will restore 50 mana. Max Damage 100/160/220/280/340(+100% AP).

(gripping shadows works well with rylais and comboed with his other abilities in order to get max damage and the snare, because of the high cooldown and mana costs of this ability it is best used when trying to go all in or escaping as the utility of the snare is great if you can get the target to sit in your zone for at least three seconds)

E: Dark Gift 16/15/14/13/12 second cooldown. 100/95/90/85/80 mana. Range: 400. Explosion Radius: 200 Infects the enemy with Dark Gift dealing 75/115/155/195/235(+80% AP) magic damage over 4 seconds and exploding when the target dies or duration ends for 40/80/120/160/200(+50% AP) magic damage. Dark Gifts explosion can not damage the original recipient of dark gift.

(Dark Gift is a short range high damaging ability with a mid length cooldown and is best used for harass/all in, The explosion is good for wave clear when combined with shadow blade)

R: Siphoning Shadows 120/110/100 second cooldown. 100 Mana cost. Radius: 450 Siphon all energy around you dealing 150/250/350(+60% AP) magic damage and pulling all enemies hit to your location and afterwards slowing for 70% for 1 second. Heals 25/50/75(+20% AP) and grants 10/15/20 Armor and Magic Resist per enemy champion hit.

(As his ultimate is his most powerful ability, timing this ability is crucial as it can potential be game changing when combined with other ults or ablities, this ability also rewards you for pulling in as many champions as you can with extra durability and sustain. Works very well when comboed with your ability Gripping Shadows)

More: Quotes/Personality are highly influenced by the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Appearance would be similar but more or less lighter armor/no helmet and Color scheme would match the shadow isles. (Currently Working on Lore/Quotes/Etc, any good quotes/other things/balancing you guys think would help out please leave in comments)
