A proposition to change Blitz a bit.
Soooooo.... I'm anxious to post this here because I think I'm gonna get a lot of hate. That or this thread won't get noticed at all.
Disclaimer: As a squishy support main, I have a personal grudge against 
ATM i think blitz is a pain to play against because of his hook. I'm fully prepared for the "bronzies can't do counterplay so they are whining on the forums lulz" comments, but i really think that Blitzcrank is is an annoyance. You can hide behind minons to prevent him from grabbing you, but as as far as I know that is the only counterplay to him(I'm probably wrong tho) I have played him and I have to say that he is a really toxic and unhealthy champion. The hook travels insanely fast, and deals a ton of damage if you build ap(even though most players won't do that). It feels poorly telegraphed because of it's nearly instant cast. the only warning I get is the loud noise it makes which, let's be honest here, is loud as hell and does not do a very good job of telling you he is on his way to rape hook you. Of course the W is meant to signal that he is coming for that booty but he does not necessarily have to use it to get some juicy hooks in.
So i thought of something that could give him more clearly defined counterplay.
What if his Q slowed him down slightly, and had to charge in a similar fashion to Varus or Xerath, while his W negated the slow and reduced the hooks charge time? To compensate for this, could his Q and W would cost less mana?
Or what if they gave him the Thresh treatment? Give it a bit of a longer cast-time so it doesn't seem so unfair to get grabbed in the jungle.
Even if they only made it so that his hook pulled you in slower so you had more time to react, it would have been an improvement. Let's be honest here. A champion that can burn a flash just by walking near people isn't really healthy for the game is it?
