Champion kit #7, a Warden

Hello you people, have a good 2020. I'm FúrinKazan and, although a level 10 account, I'm actually close to 400 in the BR server. I recently tried to reach out to Riot about my projects for League of Legends, but unfortunately they only deal with graduated people.

Anyway, the projects I made for the game have no use anymore so I decided to publish them all. They are champion kits, counting up to 120 with unique abilities, defined classes, gameplay and numbers for those who like. The idea is to publish one champion per day until April. I also have some champion updades and they might show up sometimes.

I see a lot of good and creative kit concepts and reworks everywhere on the internet. However, if its gameplay is not coherent, it's not a champion. If numbers are not right, it won't work. Riot abandons a lot of cool fantasies because they end up failing at executon, so I bring you the abilities instead, for people to imagine a theme as they want. Here we go (leave a comment and take a look at my older posts!):

  • Kagekatsu Uesugi (names are merely for inspiration and representation)

  • Warden core traits: high defensive tools, reliable peel, moderate crowd control, hindered mobility


Passive: Upon being hit by an enemy ability, Kagekatsu has his resistances increased by certain values for 3 seconds. This effect stacks up to 2 additional times, each one increasing said values by 50%.

Quiet!: Upon being hit by an enemy ability, Kagekatsu may target with a basic attack one of the enemies that hit him. Said attack gains 425 bonus range (maximum of 550) and emits a soundwave that deals damage and silences for a few seconds (doesn't apply on-hit effects, only spell effects). Cannot happen again within a few seconds.

-Additional Armor: 6/8/10% (maximum of 10/15/20%) -Additional Magic Resistance: 4.5/6/7.5% (maximum of 9/12/15%) -Damage: 50/105/160 (+ 30% AP) as Magic Damage -Silence duration: 1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds -Cooldown: 14/12/10 seconds

Values at levels 1/8/15.


1st Skill: Kagekatsu makes use of his control to manipulate the quietness around himself, creating an effect that depends on the way the ability is cast.

Cast towards a direction: Kagekatsu concentrates his energies to evacuate all movement over a straight line in front of himself for** 1** second. The force then expand to the laterals, dealing damage and pushing aside all enemies hit towards one side or the other, depending on their original position regarding the line.

Cast on Kagekatsu: Kagekatsu concentrates his energies around himself. After 3 seconds, the energy explodes, dealing damage and pushing behind all enemies near Kagekatsu (explodes immediately if Kagekatsu collides with an enemy champion during the** 2nd Skill**).

In both situations, enemies will take additional damage and be** slowed** if they collide with terrain.

-Damage: 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 50% AP) as Magic Damage -Additional damage: 50/70/90/110/130 (+ 30% AP) as Magic Damage -Slow: 60/65/70/75/80% for 2 seconds -CD: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds (begins on use)


2nd Skill: Kagekatsu perfomes a rapid run towards the selected direction, granting himself a shield for up to 3 seconds. The dash doesn't trepass terrain and cannot be unstopped unless it collides with an enemy champion, briefly pushing Kagekatsu back (this effect is denied if the 1st Skill's effect is active on him).

The run leaves a trail for 3 seconds which increases the Movement Speed of allied champions (lasts 1.5 seconds after leaving the area) when moving towards the same direction it was given, besides also granting the shield.

The shield value doesn't stack with the Ultimate.

-Shield value: 70/105/140/175/210 (+ 2.5% of Kagekatsu's Bonus Health) -Additional Movement Speed: 30/35/40/45/50% -CD: 14 seconds (begins on use)


3rd Skill: Kagekatsu strengthens his next basic attack, causing it to deal additional damage based on its target Maximum Health. If the Passive effect is active, the damage increases by 100% and also increases by more 50% for each additional stack of resistances, up to a maximum of 300% total damage.

Upon hitting the damage cap, Kagekatsu's basic attack also grounds the enemy hit for 3 seconds.

-Additional damage 30/50/70/90/110 (+ 4/5/6/7/8% of the target's Maximum Health) as Physical Damage -CD: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds


Ultimate: Kagekatsu targets an area within a great range around himself. After 2.5 seconds, Kagekatsu causes an intervention, granting a powerful shield to all allied champions within it for **3 **seconds.

Additionally, the area becomes signaled for a few seconds, granting additional Movement Speed to all allied champions within range that move towards it.

-Shield value: 150/225/300 (+ 6% of Kagekatsu's Maximum Health) -Additional Movement Speed: 30/45/60% -Signal duration: 6/7/8 seconds -CD: 160/140/120 seconds
