I want the old colors back, her classic is red, and her skins are both blue, i want it to be pink again, i LOVED the pink color, it was so elegant and pretty. and she was like the pink pretty queen of the group of blood moon gang.
Point is, my and some friends were really dissapointed in the fact that the color changed from a beautiful pink, so such a red -.- plz fix it
The feedback for Blood Moon Elise initially versus the changes that hit PBE yesterday were about the same, actually. (I've been collecting feedback for the skin.) The team's aware of player feelings for both the initial color, as well as the color most currently on PBE. We've been discussing it.
I think the color pink fits Blood Moon Elise much better than this red. I heard people said that they felt Elise was kind of left out because she was the only pink one when other Blood Moon skins are red. From I my angle of view, pink red may represents Blood Moon, too and this skin series is all Japanese style and I believe you made Elise into a Japanese geisha style which you did great job on that part but changing the pink to the red have removed some of "sense of geisha" away. I like pink Blood Moon Elise and I think that fits her perfectly. Please change it back!
Elise is currently my favorite champion — love her to bits and I have even managed to lane mid and top with her after struggling in the past to even jungle, which is an accomplishment for me. With that stated, I was in absolute love with the skin when it was first announced, it reinforced my love for Elise and I started playing her frequently again even though she was hard to use and got WAY better than before.
Now, speaking more on the actual design: I prefer the pink.
Though she looks absolutely stunning in both colors, the pink fits her more and it reinforces that Blood Moon isn't actually just about red. People seem to forget that Blood Moon doesn't actually just correlate with blood (red), but I suppose all the previous designs going for the more masculine Kabuki color of red is to blame. However, with that said — despite the other skins being red, Kalista's has shades of maroon, magenta and purple such as along her waist and armor which could give room for Elise to serve as the "Blood Moon Queen" as if she is in some kind of higher rank in lore so she garbs a more elegant color.
To complete a nice aesthetic, they don't actually all have to be the same color which people seem to not realize with Kalista's design and just seem to complain because Elise is full out pink in her own right. Again, the red is stunning, but these skins are not always going to be played among one another, so that is why I vote to keep the original color that matched so perfectly with Elise, Blood Moon and her particles. I'd rather have this unique colored skin instead of having two red skins and two blue skins for Elise. Not to mention, the pink spider form is FAR superior to the read. The skin was made to be pink. It matched the tone of the line of skins so well and made Elise stand out like she should.
Despite my reasoning, I respect the designers choices but I do hope you guys in the end, stick with the design you originally had planned out that fit her a lot better than the current coloring. I will without a doubt, buy the skin regardless of the choice in a heartbeat, but I will use it a lot more frequently with the pink color.

While I wouldn't mind a color toggling akin to other games like Heroes of the Storm with the option to tint skins to other hues, I am in the camp that thinks Blood Moon skins should be red.
I really do enjoy pink skins, and think that shade of pink definitely looks great on Elise; but I believe it would be better if a new skin was designed for Elise that makes use of that color palette.
I much prefer the red version of the skin. The pink was an eyesore, and it didn't suit the skin's theme to begin with. I really appreciate that you guys took the time to listen to the feedback and change it, but it looks like you won't be able to win with this one, the community is too divided.
I'm in agree with the Original poster. The original colors for the skin made the skin unique and stood out from the other skins, namely the default skin. Making it red is just making it the default skin with a face on her spider butt. But the pink colors made me think 'sakura' (cherry blossom) which would fit very well with the theme of the skin.

OH OH! and a few more other topic things i wanna tell you while i got yah here, about the winter skins of course, That sejuani outfit is wierd xD and she would look so pretty with Like a loose pony tail of some sort (thinking long hair), and as for the most beautiful of orianna skins, IM SO HAPPY FOR IT! she finally has a basic attack animation to match one of her skins, and she has particle effects cx but i know it isnt finished quite yet, so i was gonna say, maybe add a bell jingle instead of the original sound for her ulti, and change the metal orbs to glittery snow balls ("im sorry, i just rly love this stuff, and plan on being a cartoonist/video game designer in the future, i get carried away, hopefully im not a burden")

I really like the pink one when I saw it I was like instabuy. When I saw it It felt like she represented a different side of blood moon more of a twilight inviting feeling then leads to mysterious death. The mysterious twilight sakura blood moon vibe close to her thematically in my opinion since the bright red is kinda like in your face murder muahahaha while the pink just matches her luring trapping and killing motto and playstyle.
Other than that two other reasons the old particles match the old pink one more versus the red since it was intentionally made for the pink now its like a smorgasbord of colors with the particles (blue, pink,purple,red white, gold). Plus from my standpoint as a skin buyer who purchases skins by how they look it honestly really makes me wanna just wait for another different colored skin. Like seriously if you compare the buying patterns of people who pay for looks vs by theme, It doesn't take statistics to know their is barely anybody out there who have all the blood moon skins vs people who pick on the individuality of the skin.
I saw someone commenting that pink human and red spider and red spiderlings that would be cool too.
since her human form is more like the strategic form for trapping and luring that coincides with pink and the red spider form is the in your face murder kinda feel. Think about it calming pink/blue inviting twilight lady luring you mysteriously outside then at the full moon BOOM TRANSFORM TO BLOOD RED MURDEROUS SPIDER FRENZY. The particles would not be so out of place therefore no need of changing since the human for still has the intended pink particles and red spider well with red spider babies.
She was fixed, now she's red like the rest of the skins.
Imagine if a commando skin came out blue.

Simply don't call it Blood Moon, and all your problems are solved automatically.
I'm curious; would you folks consider having Elise be on /both/ sides of the Blood Moon spectrum?
By that, I mean that Akali is actually more white than red, with red and other dark colors being most of what covers the other Blood Moon skins. Elise being a transformation champ, it seems like it's a really interesting opportunity to be able to switch her color scheme between Beautiful/Monstrous the way she and her mask do.
It would be nice if both sides could have what they wanted. I would prefer pink Elise obviously but i have to be realistic and you guys are probably not going to do that.

Would there be anyway to have a more pinkish red but still red in a sense but not so overpowering like it is now? She is Elise and she is very seductive so the red she has now doesn't really fit like it does with kalista or thresh lol. Shes suppose to be seductively deadly not just flat out "I want your blood on my sushi". I know weird way of putting it but. I think the red should be softened up instead of being such a bold bold red. Like with a Little bit of pink.
Also have the old spider legs back, the new color legs blue and gold just don't go so well together like the purple and blue with a touch of gold was. There is just way to much gold on the legs in the red version and not enough interesting color.
Also am i the only one that feels like the thigh high boot or whatever should be on her left leg then the right one? It bother me a little LOL but doesn't make to much of a difference.
