Skins and in-game appearance

Would Riot make it consistent about the appearance between the skins and in-game? I just brought a sakura cause she looks nice and pretty with the red and green combination.... but in-game it just appeared to be the old version of sakura karma.... yellow and light green.... I know maybe the skin shown in the skin selection panel just a fan art, but I didn't expect gift.... if you know what i mean.... just similar as , the warrior princess skin is more like anime feel but not in-game.... How you guys think?
