Voldaren, the Bloodthirsty (Champion Concept) (Rough work in progress, will try to update soon)

Voldaren is a half blood vampire with a habit of getting a bit brutal with his prey. On the Fields of Justice he's known to be an AD scaling assassin that stalks down carries and gets away alive in the process via his ultimate.

Brief physical description: Black hair, body about the same size of Yasuo, wields two short knives that he keeps sheathed until he attacks, re-sheaths if out of combat for several seconds. Paler skin tone, red eyes, longer fingernails, wears a black hooded cloak that's tattered and blood stained (hood always up- he's a vampire, doesn't like sunlight Leona ).

Lore: One dark night in Demacia, Voldaren- an average student, below average warrior, only child- was celebrating his 18th birthday with his family. Having a good time, he had no knowledge of what was about to happen.

The Night Hunter was on the prowl.

The light's went out in his house, and a loud cracking noise could be heard from downstairs. Voldaren was about to investigate when his mother held him back by the shoulder.

"Hide!" she whispered to him.

Voldaren didn't know anything about what was happening - his family never told him anything. He ended up obeying her, ducking into a small empty cabinet, barely being able to close the door and hold his breath when a much louder noise rang through the room.

"I believe you know why I'm here." A monotone voice echoed.

A brief moment later, footsteps cluttered his ears with sound, a crash of glass followed by a scream, which ends abruptly after a mere second.

Silence.

After several agonizing minutes, Voldaren decided it was safe and decided to open the door - to see what would haunt him for the rest of his life.

His parents were murdered.

Overcome with the recent deaths, he was speechless, unable to breathe regularly for quite some time, until he heard a voice in a nearby window. It sounded elderly and crude.

"Do you wish to know.... what you really are?" it called. Voldaren couldn't make out details - it was simply a silhouette in the distance. "Here." A small flask was tossed at his feet.

Without much thought into it (as he really couldn't think at this moment) he tore it open and started guzzling down its contents, assuming it was alcohol. It tasted sweet while it slid down his throat.

"That's it, young one.... drink up." The voice said, cackling afterward as it left his presence, leaving him alone with the corpses of his relatives. Once it left him, he felt contortions in his body and started to collapse in pain in his stomach. It was then when he realized what it was in the flask.

Blood.

Two years later, Voldaren - now a Noxus resident after the incident- became a bit of a depressing entity in town. He hung out around a local bar (not drinking anything, just loitering) in order to get his news and find his next food source for the evening. He appeared to find someone that looked delectable - - killer mustache, rather arrogant - - and decided to follow him out of the bar. After stalking him through crowds of people, he noticed that the man ducked into an allyway. Taking the same turn, I sees him continue to walk down the corridor. Pulling his knives, Voldaren pounces at him, fangs extending.

Unknowingly, just before he reaches the prey he's been stalking, he was yanked out of the air by a rather large axe, wielded by an equal-sized male. He began to speak in a low, bellowing tone.

"Listen here, kid. We know what you are." He began. "Now, we also know what you want-"

"How could you possibly know what I want?" Voldaren retorted, a small bit of agitation slipping through.

"Does the term Night Hunter ring any bells?"

Voldaren stayed silent.

"So here's the deal, scumbag, " the man that was almost dinner said, turning around and drawing a weapon. "You got yourself a couple of options.... Either you decide to come with us and we'll give you what you want, or- well, let's just say..." The weapon in his hand began spinning after opening up a second blade. The rotations caused a small breeze on Voldaren's head. "...I get a bit of target practice." He finished with a broad chuckle.

Realizing that he had just about no other options, considering he was still bound by the larger one currently behind him and the guy in front was no joke either, he simply sighed, and replied:

"What do you want me to do?"

The man in front began laughing as he put his weapon away slowly. "Welcome to the League of DRAVEN."

Allies: Darius, Draven, Katarina

Rivals: Vayne, Vladimir, Lux.....Vayne.

Voldaren's Passive - Strip the Flesh: Voldaren's basic attacks against a champion apply a stack of Stripped Flesh, reducing the armor of the target by a percentage that scales with Voldaren's level. This stacks up to three times and falls off after he attacks a new target or does not damage the target for 5 seconds. Abilities he casts that injure the target refresh this timer and have bonus effects if they have max stacks.

[Armor Reduction per Stack: 1%- 8% at steady rate until max level]

Voldaren's Q: Go For The Throat - Voldaren lashes out with his next basic attack with both knives, dealing bonus physical damage. If the target has three stacks of Stripped Flesh the target takes an additional 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% + (1% per 100 Bonus AD) of their missing health as additional magic damage. This is an auto attack reset and applies on hit effects- but cannot critically strike. (Cost: 10% of Current Health Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds) [Range: Melee Attack] [Flat Damage: Equal to Auto Attack Damage] [AD Scaling of On-Hit Bonus Damage: 60%]

Voldaren's W: Skewer: Voldaren throws a knife in a line based skillshot, dealing physical damage and slowing the first target struck for 2 seconds. If the target has three stacks of Stripped Flesh, the slow duration is increased by an additional 1 second.

[Cost: 30 Health Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6] [Flat Damage: 30/45/60/75/90] [AP Scaling 20%] [Slow: 50%] [Missile Width: 60] [Missile Range: 550] [Travel Speed: .75 seconds for full range]

Voldaren's E: Lust for Blood: Voldaren aims for a cheap shot at the eyes of his victim striking his target's head for 100 + (10%/20%/30%/40%/50% of Bonus AD) in physical damage. They become blinded for 2 seconds as well if they have three stacks of Stripped Flesh. [Cost: 125/150/175/200/225 Health Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds] [Range: 500]

Voldaren's Ultimate: Aspect of the Half Blood:

PASSIVE: Gains 3%/6%/10% Lifesteal.

ACTIVE: Voldaren gives in to his urges, leaping at target location and becoming immune to crowd control effects. (This can be blocked by other champions stepping in his path) If he lands on a champion they will be stunned for .25 seconds and the cooldown is reduced by 50%, but he will be stunned for .25 seconds regardless on what or who he hits (if anything). While he is in air he transforms for up to 5 seconds, gaining bonus attack damage at the cost of movement speed.
(No Cost Cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds) [AD Buff Percent: 5%/10%/15%] [Movement Speed Debuff: 10% at all ranks] [Landing Radius : 300] [Leap Range: 800] [Missile Speed: 100 units every 1/8th of a second] (Side Note: He goes over walls with this ability)

PROS AND CONS:

Pros: Good single target damage, pick potential, duelist, mobility with ultimate resets Cons: No wave clear, susceptible to hard crowd control, weak laning phase.

DESIGN GOALS:

What I was trying to aim for was a new type of AD assassin that scaled better into late game and had a weaker early game, mostly focused on killing high-priority threats (looking at you Sivir Tristana Kalista MasterYi etc etc.) I also wanted something that seemed interesting with the kit but didn't want him to be blatantly reliant on auto attacks or abilities; I wanted to mix them both together. I may have to come back to this and rethink his kit a little, but I want some thoughts from you guys on what direction I should take this idea, or if I should just kill it now. Be blunt- I want to try and learn to get better at this so I can maybe get a job doing something like it in the future.

Also if anyone would like to create concept drawings of icons or a splash art along with a possible new Lore for him, feel free to do so. I'll take suggestions gladly.
