The new Ranked feel's good but we need more......
Hello everyone, I am about to talk about something we've never heard before regarding League of Legends, an ideal way of making League even greater than before.
So we know so far that the new ranked games grown up a bit larger than before, but what if it wasn't enough for us? That is a question I've been asking to myself since the beginning of the new season 9. That is why I am going straight to my ideas: Medals and champion title ranks. I'll create a story and you will read it so you can understand what I will talk about later on this post.
Imagine that my name is Patrick, I am playing League of Legends since the third season. Since then, I managed to join the Gold rank which is good because it's the middle tier of the low Elo. Imagine that someone, in a game is underestimating my knowledge and my skill's anf that someone REALLY don't trust me at all. That is a sort of situation where you will not have the full potential of a good team fight during the middle of the game. That can be realy frustrating at some point. You see, the point of this story is that no one knows how good you are right now or how bad you are nowadays. But what if, there was something that could possibly show your talent? If any of you ever played Halo Reach on the Xbox 360, in this video game, you had the ability to gain experience and earn medals for succeeding a challenge! They were called the citations. Well, it is kind of the same thing I am talking about regarding League of Legends.
Here is an example of my idea: You have no rank signed at all regarding all your medals. It start at Iron Medal, Bronze Medal, Silver Medal, Gold Medal, Platinum Medal and Diamond Medal which is the last medal rank you can achieve. Imagine that there is a Medal called: The MvP (Most valuable Player) and to earn the first rank medal (Iron), you will need to be the MvP for 25 games. Being the MvP can be hard at some point but it all depends on your rank. You manage to earn the Iron Medal, congratulation buddy! But now, to earn the Bronze MvP medal, you gotta have to be MvP for 50 games! It always double the number everytime you rank up your medal. Here is all the details regarding the MvP medal: Iron - 25 games, Bronze - 50 games, Silver - 100 games, Gold - 200 games, Platinum - 400 games and Diamond - 800 games.
The moment you earn a Gold rank medal, the champion you often used to earn the Gold rank medal will get some kind of a banner with the title of Pro. This banner truly show that you have done a large number of games as MvP with the champion that has the Pro banner. That also show that you are not about to screw up things around in-game and if you fail, you know that you'll still earn some kind of respect because you have a banner Pro regarding the Gold MvP medal. Being MvP doesn't mean that you win the game. You can also lose the game and still being the MvP from your team.
Here is all the medal I've imagined ----->
The first blood medal: Earn 25 first bloods to earn the Iron medal, 50 first bloods for the Bronze medal, 100 First bloods for the Silver medal, 200 first bloods for the Gold medal, 400 first bloods for the Platinum medal, 800 first bloods for the Diamond medal.
The Double kill medal: Earn 30 double kills to earn the Iron medal, 60 double kills for the Bronze medal, 120 double kills for the Silver medal, 240 double kills for the Gold medal, 480 double kills for the Platinum medal and 960 double kills for the Diamond medal.
The Triple kill medal: Earn 20 Triple Kills to earn the Iron medal, earn 40 triple kills to earn the Bronze medal, earn 80 triple kills to earn the Silver medal, earn 160 triple kills to earn the Gold medal, earn 320 triple kills to earn the Platinum medal and earn 640 triple kills to earn the Diamond medal.
The Quadra kill medal: Earn 15 quadra kills to earn the Iron medal, earn 30 quadra kills to earn the Bronze medal, earn 60 quadra kills to earn the Silver medal, earn 120 quadra kills to earn the Gold medal, earn 240 quadra kills to earn the Platinum medal and earn 480 quadra kills to earn the Diamond medal.
The Penta kill medal: Earn 5 penta kills to earn the Iron medal, earn 10 penta kills to earn the Bronze medal, earn 20 penta kills to earn the Silver medal, earn 40 penta kills to earn the Gold medal, earn 80 penta kills to earn the Platinum medal and 160 penta kills to earn the Diamond medal.
The Killing Spree medal: earn 40 killing spree to earn the Iron medal, earn 80 killing spree to earn the Bronze medal, earn 160 killing spree to earn the Silver medal, earn 320 killing spree to earn the Gold medal, earn 640 killing spree to earn the Platinum medal and 1280 killing spree to earn the Diamond medal.
The Assist medal: Earn 100 assists to earn the Iron medal, earn 200 assists to earn the Bronze medal, earn 400 assists to earn the Silver medal, earn 800 assists to earn the Gold medal, earn 1600 assist to earn the Platinum medal and 3200 assists to earn the Diamond medal.
MvP medal: Earn 25 games as MvP to earn the Iron medal, earn 50 games as MvP to earn the Bronze medal, earn 100 games as MvP to earn the Silver medal, earn 200 games as MvP to earn the Gold Medal, earn 400 games as MvP to earn to earn the Platinum and 800 games as MvP to earn the Diamond medal.
Shut Down medal: Earn 30 shut downs to earn the Iron medal, earn 60 shut downs to earn the Bronze medal, earn 120 shut downs to earn the Silver medal, earn 240 shut downs to earn the Gold medal, earn 480 shut downs to earn the Platinum medal and 960 shut downs to earn the Diamond medal.
The Farmer: Earn 1000 minion kills to earn the Iron medal, earn 2000 minion kills to earn the Bronze medal, earn 4000 minion kills to earn the Silver medal, earn 8000 minion kills to earn the Gold medal, earn 16000 minion kills to earn the Platinum medal and 32000 minion kills to earn the Diamond medal ---- The pro banner is unavailable for this medal
I eat monsters: Earn 100 monster kills to earn the Iron medal, earn 200 monster kills to earn the Bronze medal, earn 400 monster kills to earn the Silver medal, earn 800 monster kills to earn the Gold medal, earn 1600 monster kills to earn the Platinum medal and 3200 monster kills to earn the Diamond medal ---- The pro banner is unavailable for this medal
I am a God: Earn all Diamond medals to earn the God Banner and a free skin of your choice with chroma (if its only available).
