Kwon' Za, The Entity of the Void

Before I start I want to give a huge shout out to Nelogis, like me they are a person who loves to make champion concepts. Recently they made a champion concept called Mug'Gri the Hopes End. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/zrgkg4LE-champion-concept-battlemage-muggri-the-hopes-end This is a really well done champion concept, it has images of what Mug'Gri may look like. I believe all the images are based on Rek'Sai but that is just because Rek'Sai has some great fan art made. The abilities are really unique with a nice void touch to them, the ability to cancel out shields is great for some team-making plays and encourages players with shields to use them more wisely. This also stops that boring "protect the adc" comp too. They really took some time into making this champion concept and from one creator on the boards to another I really hope you check it out. Thanks!

Lore: Kwon' Za is a very unique champion; counter part to Aurelion Sol and designed like the mystical creature, the Hydra, Kwon' Za is the creator of the everything within the void realm. Born into the realm of the void Kwon' Za was lonely, every other being he had seen so far he had deemed unworthy of life and would bite them before blasting them to smithereens. Eventually, Kwon' Za figured out that there was another dimension besides his own and would create gates between the two so that he could send his minions in to gather information and maybe inspire fear into the other world. It was at one of these gates that he felt it, a power near-equal to his destroying wave after wave of his minions, he let a flare of his power go through the gateway and could sense the fear that the being on the other side felt. Eventually Kwon' Za managed to create a portal big enough for himself to fit through, which in the process changed the history of the dimension ever so slightly so that the place he landed never existed and that the inhabitants were all born somewhere else. The only thing that remained was a clock tower in the middle of where the city used to be, and no matter how many times Kwon' Za destroyed it, the damage to the tower always reversed. It was then that Kwon' Za realized he so much weaker in this dimension that he couldn't even surpass Chrono magic, this infuriated him, he could sense that the Chrono magic was stronger then any he had sensed before but that still shouldn't have been nearly enough to stop him. Howling with rage Kwon' Za tried to bite the tower in two, but as he bit into the clock tower Chrono magic absorbed into him as debris from the tower crushed his head. Yet the Chrono magic not only fixed his injury but also cause him to grow an additional head for a short time. Now in Runeterra Kwon' Za searched for not only his rival who he would learned to be named Aurelion Sol, but also for the magician who created that Chrono Magic in the tower. And for all those who got in his way, they found themselves in the afterlife very quickly.

Archtype: Hydra

Class: Mage

Health: 570 + (90)

Mana: 350 + (50)

Passive Snap Back: Upon being hit by a basic attack or an ability that applies on-hit effects, Kwon' Za gains an extra head lasting for lasting for 6 seconds (refreshed upon entering combat with an enemy champion). For every head Kwon' Za grows, his ability damage increases by 5% (2.5% ap scaling) up to a total of 5 stacks of Snap Back. Upon reaching 5 bonus heads Kwon' Za gains a burst of 50% bonus movement speed for 3 seconds.

  • Every additional head Kwon' Za gains is considered 1 stack of Snap Back so at 5 stacks he will have 6 heads. His primary head does not give any unique abilities.

Q Bite of Corruption: Kwon' Za gains two heads towards his passive Snap Back and bites forward in a target direction stopping at the first enemy unit hit. Bite of Corruption stuns the enemy unit for 0.5 (+0.5 per Snap Back stack) seconds and inflicts the unit with the Corruption de-buff for 6 seconds.

  • Bite of Corruption will not allow Kwon' Za to exceed the 5 stack limit on Snap Back and will give 1 stack if Kwon' Za already has 4 stacks, and no stacks if he already has all 5 stacks

W Void Wave: Kwon' Za shoots a wave of void energy in a line in front of him, dealing damage to all units struck and lowering their magic resist by 15%. If Void Wave hits an enemy champion that is infected with Corruption, for two seconds Kwon' Za can re-cast Void Wave from that Corrupted target any direction Kwon' Za chooses. If Kwon' Za hits a Corrupted unit that is not an enemy champion then the damage of Void Wave is doubled for any units hit after the Corrupted unit.

R Active Howl of Destruction Kwon' Za let's put a destructive howl in a cone in front of him, damaging enemy champions and executing any minions or non-epic monsters below 75% HP. Howl of Destruction* interrupts enemy champions and increases any current CC applied to the enemies by 0.5 seconds.

Thanks for reading my champion concept on Kwon' Za the Entity of the Void. I really enjoy making champion concepts based on beings or people hinted at in the lore and Kwon' Za is the first of many to come. I often put about an hours work going into these champion designs and try to balance the numbers with the types of the champion and their kit. Please leave me a comment on future suggestions and if you wanna draw Kwon' Za or leave an upvote please do! Have a great day everyone! [slayer-jinx-catface]

Very interesting. I've actually been thinking about what they would do with that hinted champion hopefully it'll be as interesting as this one.

Does his Q have any scaling? because in the late game a Minion with 125% attack dmg isn't going to do anything ^^

Add like a (30% AP as AD) to the minion and let the corruption time increase with levels as well as the movmentspeed (starting from 2 seconds and 30% to 5 seconds and 60% for example)

Otherwise this spell seems underwhelming

When does the actual cooldown of the W start? Does it refresh after every recast or can you recast it as many times until the actual CD of the spell is done?

His E seems really interesting! Especially that your allies can add to your shield. But it can be clunky when poeple just want to give you a shield (like Guardian) or accidentally click an AA on you and get selfrooted for it.

I don't fully undestand the R tho... so do corrupted enemies gain a shield as soon as they get attacked?

If so I might have a very interesting idea, what if your champ has an ability (maybe his E?) that consumes all shields around him and gives him 50% of the shields consumed as a shield. That would certainly be cool and also a counter against "protect the carry comps"

Maybe change the R so they take additional DMG while corrupted but gain a shield based on the DMG dealt to them after the 5 secs (kinda like Zed ult) and then you use E mids the enemy team to consume all of it and gain a massive shield.

Your champ would fit a very needed niche in that regard

But then you would have to add something that works with that in the rest of his kit outside of the ult....

This just gives me an idea for a slightly different champ.... hmmm... do I have your permission to design a slightly similar champ to this one? I will for sure credit you in the post!
