Lore

Before Ryze or Tyrus, Arcadium stayed the immense powers of the World Runes. Numerous times he had to journey to the ends of Runeterra to satisfy these needs. He buried Runes deep in the earth, placed them in stasis for centuries to come, submerged them within volcanoes, and even handed them over to the most vile creatures on the planet so they could protect it better than he. As the years grew on, Arcadium became more aware of what could happen to him if he were to continue to manage these. He needed to find someone else to take these and keep them safe. Tyrus, only a young man at the time, was the mage that would take the Runes and hide them from prying eyes. Afterwards, Arcadium left Tyrus' village and set off to check on one of the Runes he hid. When he got there, Arcadium saw how he had wrongly trusted the monsters. They had been using it to their profit, destroying any enemy that came their way, and completely changing the landscape of the world around them. "Goblum!" He yelled at the king of the race. The monster loomed over him on his throne. "Oh, why isn't it you, Mage of the Runes. I was wondering when you'd stop trusting us." Goblum replied as he stood up on large legs, further looming over Arcadium. "Do you think you can stop me, Mage? I'm too powerful for you." Arcadium watched as his minions gathered between the two adversaries. "You give me no choice, monster." Arcadium ended. He began sprinting toward Goblum, turning his enemies to dust as he flashed by them. Grabbing the World Rune, he began to retreat, but Goblum grabbed him. "You puny humans and your magic, when will a mage come along that can beat me?" Goblum questioned as he began crushing Arcadium. Arcadium had no choice but to do the one thing he hoped he never had to. As he placed the Rune inside his armor, his veins began to flow with Runic power. He detonated some of the energy to disintegrate his enemy's bulging hands. As Goblum bled out from his arms, he cowered back into his throne. Arcadium strode toward him, channeling Runic power in his body. Before Goblum could plead for mercy, Arcadium began placing Runic symbols on the walls, and transported the entire throne room to another dimension, along with Goblum. As Arcadium stood on ground he was creating to replace what he had destroyed, he watched as Tyrus ran to him over the hill, scroll in hand. Arcadium walked to Tyrus. "Never use the power of the Runes for your gain." He ordered as he began to weep. "Even if you have to save your life."

Abilities

Passive - Runic Archon: Arcadium, after using the power of the World Rune, is a living embodiment of Runic energy. His abilities are fueled from both mana and Runic Power. Arcadium has 100 points of Runic Power that do not regenerate automatically. Upon reaching 50 or lower Runic Power, Arcadium's abilities deal more damage, but also damage himself. Runic Power is restored when in the Fountain.

> Q - Runic Dash: Arcadium slides 180 degrees around an enemy from his current location, dealing 80/100/120/140/160 magic damage (+60% AP). If the slide is successful, the ability can be reactivated for half the Mana and Runic Power cost within 1 second. If not reactivated, Arcadium instead leaps off the enemy 100/120/140/160/180 units. The same enemy can not be targeted for 3 seconds.

5 second CD (if unsuccessful or not reactivated) 20 Mana and 10 Runic Power Targeted cast Single target 100/120/140/160/180 units

> W - Uplift: Arcadium lifts pieces of the ground around him, knocking up enemies for .5 seconds and dealing 85/115/145/175/205 magic damage (+45% AP). The ground remains lifted for 2/2/3/3/4 seconds afterwards, slowing enemies by 30/40/50/60/70% while in the area. Each enemy lifted in the air grants 5 Runic Power. Heroes grant 2x this amount.

12 second CD 50/55/60/65/70 Mana and 20 Runic Power Area/Self cast AoE knockup 1000 unit diameter area

>E - Meld: Passive: Arcadium's basic attacks leave a trail of 3/4/5/6/7 rocks that slow enemies standing on them. Active: Arcadium lifts a target set of rocks and fires them to a target location, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+10% AP) to 60/70/80/90/100 magic damage (+50% AP), depending on how far it traveled. Each consecutive rock deals 10% less damage than the previous to the same enemy. Each rock is fired .15 seconds after the last.

10/9.5/9/8.5/8 second cooldown 10 Mana and 5 Runic Power per rock Skillshot from rocks (think Azir's Q) Deals damage to each enemy within skillshot 1500 unit diameter area, 1000 unit skillshot

>R - Rune Warp: After .75 seconds, Arcadium fires a rune in a target direction, transporting an enemy up to 500/1000/1500 away. The enemy takes 30/40/50% more damage from Arcadium afterwards.

50/40/30 second cooldown No cost Skillshot Transport 750/1000/1250 units
